摘要: In an embodiment, the invention includes a clutch device including a first friction clutch disposed between an input member and an output member, a second friction clutch adapted to go into a power cut-off state upon exertion thereon of a clutch releasing force, and a torque cam mechanism disposed between the first and second friction clutches. In an embodiment, the invention can decrease the number of clutch parts, simplify the clutch structure, and make the clutch device compact. First and second friction clutches can be constructed with a clutch outer common to both, and a torque cam mechanism is disposed within the clutch outer and between the first and second friction clutches.

摘要: A first dog clutch member is coupled with a rotation transmitting member rotatably mounted on a power transmission shaft with a relative rotation clearance θ. A second dog clutch member is slidably mounted on the power transmission shaft to be engageable/disengageable with/from the first dog clutch member. A damper spring is interposed between the rotation transmitting member and the first dog clutch member. First dog teeth and second dog teeth, which are engaged/disengaged with/from each other by an axial displacement of the second dog clutch member, are formed in the first dog clutch member and the second dog clutch member, respectively. A chamfer is made in each end portion of the respective first dog teeth and each end portion of the respective second dog teeth, which are opposed to each other, so as to guide the second dog teeth to a position to engage with the first dog teeth.

摘要: A saddle type vehicle having mounted thereon a power unit is provided with a twin clutch type transmission including a pair of main shafts and a pair of clutches along different axes, to enable a compact layout of axes and a reduction in size of the unit and its surroundings. The axis center (first main axis) of a first main shaft is disposed rearwardly of the axis center (crank axis) of a crankshaft and forwardly of the axis center (counter axis) of a counter shaft, whereas the axis center (second main axis) of a second main shaft is disposed rearwardly of the axis center (counter axis) of the counter shaft and forwardly of the axis center (pivot axis) of a pivot shaft.

摘要: To provide a continuously variable transmission for motor vehicles which transmits power with a speed change from a driving member to a driven member. In the continuously variable transmission, power transmission is effected by moving a carrier which supports a shifting rotating member in frictional contact with the driving member and the driven member. No other special mechanism other than the continuously variable transmission is needed to push to move the motor vehicle with a small force. At least either one of the driving member and the driven member is driven by a power disconnecting means to move away from the other member along the axis of a transmission shaft, thereby releasing at least one of the driving member and the driven member from frictional contact with the first and second friction transfer surfaces.

摘要: To provide a power switchover apparatus for a hybrid vehicle, which can perform power switchover smoothly. Target follow-up control is started, and when the engine speed reaches a clutch-in speed of a starter clutch, the input power shaft of a continuously variable transmission starts rotation. The speed of the output power shaft also begins to gradually rise in response to the starting of rotation. The engine speed then reaches a target, and transmission ratio raising control of raising the transmission ratio based on the difference between the motor speed of a drive shaft and the speed of a driven side pulley is started. The motor speed Nm of the drive motor and the speed of the driven side power transmission pulley then become equal to each other and the one-way clutch is placed into a connected state. Consequently, the transmission ratio raising control is stopped and normal control is entered.

摘要: To make a continuously variable transmission small and to be able to freely set a transmission ratio of a driving force transmitted from an engine to a continuously variable transmission. A continuously variable transmission for carrying out gear changes by a rotary drive member and a driven rotary member supported so as to be freely rotatable at a main transmission shaft coming into contact with variable speed rotary members supported at gears and so as to be freely rotatable is housed within a transmission chamber partitioned from a crank chamber and enclosing lubricating oil. The driving force of the crank shaft of the engine is inputted to a driven gear provided at the main transmission shaft that passes through a cover member of the transmission chamber and protrudes to the inside of the crank chamber. By providing the driven gear outside of the transmission chamber, a situation where the dimensions of the continuously variable transmission T are made large due to the driven gear can be prevented and the transmission chamber can be made small. Further, the transmission ratio of the drive force transmitted to the continuously variable transmission T can be freely set just by changing the external diameter of the driven gear.
