    摘要: A multiway valve having a handle which can be lightly rotated. The valve includes a valve casing (38) provided with an entrance port (64) and plural exit ports (66, 68, 44a). A valve member (40) or a cam shaft (168) which opens and closes the exit ports (66, 68, 44a) is rotatably inserted in the casing (38). One of the exit ports is formed in one end surface of the casing (38), while the others are formed in the outer surface of the casing. Balls (60, 62, 160B, 160C) capable of plugging up the exit ports in the outer surface are mounted in the valve casing (38). The valve member (40) has arms or cams for moving the balls. The exit port in the end surface is opened and closed by the valve member (40) or one ball (160C).

    摘要: A gas-liquid contacting apparatus according to the present invention comprises a gas channel, a blowing device, a screen, a liquid feeding device and a pump. The screen is supplied continuously with liquid by means of the pump and the liquid dosing device, forming liquid film in intervals where gas passes through all the time. Gas fed out of the blowing device breaks through said liquid film or screen. In this moment, the gas-liquid contact is completed as the specific components contained in the gas are chemically decomposed and removed, being diffused in liquid. The liquid film is broken and re-formed repeatedly while the gas flows.

    摘要: In a fuel supply system for a motor vehicle wherein a solenoid valve is interposed in an air breather pipe by which fuel vaporized in a fuel tank is introduced into a canister, and the solenoid valve is opened by an ON signal of a fuel flap switch which turns ON when a fuel flap is opened, so as to bring the air breather pipe into communication from the fuel tank to the canister, thereby permitting the fuel tank to be fueled; a safety circuit for a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle comprising the fact that a solenoid valve driving circuit which extends from a power source to an earth through the fuel flap switch as well as the solenoid valve is provided with a first relay of normally-closed type to turn OFF in an ON state of a boost switch which turns ON when a stop of an engine is detected in an ON state of an ignition key switch, and that an ignition coil driving circuit which extends from the power source to the earth through the ignition key switch as well as an ignition coil is provided with a second relay of normally-closed type to turn OFF during energization of the solenoid valve driving circuit, whereby the fuel tank can be fueled only when the engine is stopped.

    摘要: A water purifying apparatus of compact construction. The water purifying apparatus has a water channel for receiving water via an inflow passage and discharging water via an outflow passage. An electrically conductive filter is disposed in and fully occupies a portion of the water channel for purifying water flowing through the filter. A first electrode is electrically connected to the filter, and a second electrode, disposed in the filter, is electrically connected to the filter via water flowing through the filter. A battery supplies voltage between the first and second electrodes. A switch controls application of the voltage from the batteries to the first and second electrodes. A circuit board having a control circuit is disposed above the first electrode, the second electrode and the switch. The circuit board is electrically connected to the various electronic components.

Accordingly, a key touch quality which may be experienced with a grand piano can be enjoyed using an upright piano.

    摘要: A welded joint improved in fatigue strength, a steel deck using the welded joint, and a process of producing the steel deck are provided.A steel deck 3 includes a steel plate 10 having a paving surface 11 on which a pavement is placed, and stiffeners 20 welded to a lower surface 12 of the steel plate opposite the paving surface. Single bevel grooves 22 are formed at respective edges 21 of each stiffener brought into contact with the steel plate, and a weld metal 30 is deposited in each single bevel groove 22. The weld metal is a low transformation-temperature welding material whose martensitic transformation occurs in a predetermined low temperature range. The groove angle θ of the single bevel grooves 22 and welding conditions are set based on data acquired so as to obtain a fixed dilution ratio of the weld metal 30 through control of penetration rate.
