    摘要: A photosensitive member for electrophotography comprises a photosensitive layer containing a trisazo pigment represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein Ar.sub.1 is a pyridylene group capable of having a substituent; Ar.sub.2 and Ar.sub.3 are respectively a pyridylene group or an arylene group each capable of having a substituent; and A is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group. Because the trisazo pigment has a characteristic central skeleton including the central nitrogen atom and an adjacent pyridylene group, the photosensitive member has a sensitivity region expanded to the near-infrared region and shows a stable charging characteristic during a continuous electrophotographic operation.

    摘要: An article clamping apparatus is designed to compulsorily open the front end portions of divided pieces of a collet and to allow the divided pieces of the collet to securely hold a pull stud of a tool holder. A draw bar is fitted into a spindle of the machine tool, and a support sleeve is disposed to surround the draw bar via the collet. A separator is disposed on the front side of the support sleeve and fixed to the spindle together with the support sleeve. The positioning plates provided on the separator are engaged with slit grooves of the support sleeve and inserted between the divided pieces of the collet. Upon advancement of the draw bar, the divided pieces are advanced, so that the front end slat surfaces of the divided pieces contact the slant surfaces of the collet opening projections provided on the separator so as to compulsorily open the front portions of the divided pieces. Subsequently, the engagement portion of the pull stud is inserted into the front portion of the collet, and the draw bar is retracted, so that the engagement portion of the pull stud is engaged with the front inside projections of the divided pieces.

    摘要: An electric piano having a casing provided with a frame made as a casting or the like with a plurality of strings stretched on the piano and supported at intermediate portions by a bridge member. A plurality of hammers driven by respective keys strikes the strings and pickups are provided for detecting vibrations of the strings. An amplifier is connected to the pickups and a speaker is connected to the amplifier. The bridge member is supported on supporting members attached to the frame through shock absorbing members of rubber or the like, and the pickups are constituted by piezoelectric elements mounted at any desired position in the supporting members.

    摘要: A tool holder is equipped with a tip run-out correction mechanism for correcting run-out of the tip of the tool. The tip run-out correction mechanism includes an annular stepped portion formed on a cylindrical support portion of a holder body; a ring member rotatably fitted onto the annular stepped portion; an eccentric cam disposed within the ring member, the eccentric cam extending radially through the ring member and being rotatable about a radially extending axis; and a pin disposed within the ring member to be movable along a direction parallel to the center axis of a flange portion of the holder body. One end of the pin is in contact with the eccentric cam, and the other end of the pin is in contact with a rear end face of a clamp sleeve which clamps a tool inserted into a chuck sleeve of the holder body. The eccentric cam is rotated so as to adjust press force that the pin applies to the rear end face of the clamp sleeve, to thereby elastically deform a base end portion of the chuck sleeve in a radial direction in such a manner that tip run-out of the tool approaches zero.

    摘要: An end mill chucking structure for chucking an end mill having a relatively small diameter and used, for example, for deep milling of a die. The end mill chucking structure includes an end mill holder and an end mill. A holder body has a taper hole formed therein. The end mill includes an end mill body and a cutting tip provided at an end portion of the end mill body. A portion of the end mill body located opposite the cutting tip serves as a tapered shank portion. The shank portion and the rest of the end mill body are bounded by a shoulder extending outward from the surface of the shank portion. The shank portion is press-fitted or shrink-fitted into the taper hole such that the end face of the holder body abuts the shoulder of the end mill body, through application to the holder body of heat at a temperature lower than a conventional shrink-fitting temperature.
