Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for performing a failure analysis on a device monitored by at least one connected device, where in response to a determination of an impending failure, at least one corrective action is determined and suggested to the user of the monitored device. In one example, operations include monitoring operations of at least one monitored device using at least one connected device, determining a projected life span of the at least one monitored device based on the monitored operations, and, if the projected life span of the monitored device is less than a threshold amount, determining a corrective action to perform. A proposal can be generated for presentation based on the corrective action. The proposal may be based on the estimated cost of the determined corrective action and an analysis of an account.

Abstract: An apparatus maintains a segregated database in a multiple distributed ledger system. The apparatus includes a storage device that stores software instructions for controlling a processor that when executed by the processor configure the processor to: create distributed ledgers, each created distributed ledger being associated with a respective individual profile; maintain a segregated database apart from the distributed ledgers including, for each individual profile, profile balance data; and process a data exchange between exchanging profiles. To process the data exchange, the processor is configured to receive data exchange data regarding parameters of the data exchange; approve the data exchange based on a check of the data exchange data against profile balance data in the database; access the distributed ledgers associated with the exchanging profiles; and cause a distributed ledger data exchange corresponding to the data exchange to be added to the accessed distributed ledgers when the data exchange is approved.

Abstract: Methods and electronic systems for managing data transfer timing in a database are described. An electronic system includes a communication interface, a memory, and a processor coupled with the memory and the communication interface. The processor is configured to receive a signal representing an electronic message from a third party system. The electronic message notifies the electronic system of a first scheduled data transfer to a database managed by the electronic system and including a first transfer time in the future and value change information that affects a value of the database. In response to receipt of the electronic message, the processor evaluates a second scheduled data transfer from the database to a recipient at a second transfer time in the future at which at least a portion of the value is expected to be transferred to the recipient.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and computer-implemented methods for implementing a resource allocation and adjusting resource usage and spending based on information received from a plurality of network-connected devices. One example method is performed by identifying a master resource allocation associated with a plurality of connected devices and monitoring, at a device hub, resource usage information associated with at least one connected device. The device hub compares the monitored resource usage information associated with the at least one connected device to the master resource allocation for the plurality of connected devices, and, in response to the comparison, calculates at least one adjustment in operation for a particular connected device from the plurality of connected devices based on the monitored resource usage information. The device hub then transmits an instruction to perform the at least one calculated adjustment in operation to the particular connected device associated with the adjustment.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include methods, systems, system terminals, and point-of-sale terminals for authenticating a user. The disclosed embodiments include, for example, a method for receiving, by one or more processors, authentication data from an authentication network, the authentication data including an authentication code identifying an authentication transaction associated with an authenticating partner system. The method may also include validating, by the one or more processors, the authentication data, the validating comprising comparing the authentication data with validation data corresponding to a prior authentication event associated with the user. The method may also include generating, by the one or more processors, validation information based on the validating, the validation information comprising a determination whether to validate the user for the authentication transaction. The method may also include providing, by the one or more processors, the validation information to the authentication network.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for processing an interaction response of a request service provider. The method includes detecting the interaction response for a first interaction session using a first interaction channel between a request initiator and the request service provider, assigning an identifier to the interaction response, determining a task associated with the interaction response, and obtaining context data of a plurality of other interaction sessions. The plurality of other interaction sessions occurs proximal in time with the first interaction session. The context data is related to activity of the request initiator. The method also includes associating a subset of the context data with the interaction response. The subset of the context data is the context data of the plurality of other interaction sessions that are related to the task. The method also includes modifying the interaction response using the subset of the context data.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that automatically provision one or more services available to an Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices upon connection to and registration onto communications network. In one aspect, a device may receive, from a computing system, data specifying one or more first services provisioned to the device. The device may identify a subset of the first services that are consistent with a device type of an additional device, and may transmit a portion of the stored first data that specifies the subset of the first services to that additional device. The additional device may process the transmitted portion to provision the subset of the first services to the additional device prior to a successful authentication.

Abstract: A message processing server includes a message processor, a network interface, and a memory storing a token database of multi-layer tokens. Each token in the database includes a plurality of encrypted data layers. The message processor receives, via the network interface, at least one authorization message that identifies one of the tokens, derives a first decrypted data layer from the first encrypted data layer of the token, and extracts from the first decrypted data layer a second pointer to a secondary database that stores a predetermined data value. The message processor excises the predetermined data value from the secondary database.
