    Abstract: A controller for a hybrid vehicle performs charging control when a shift range of the hybrid vehicle is a first range, and does not perform the charging control when the shift range of the hybrid vehicle is a second range, the charging control being control of charging a power storage device with electric power generated by a generator driven by an engine. The controller records diagnosis information when an SOC of the power storage device is equal to or lower than a first threshold value and the shift range of the hybrid vehicle is the first range, and does not record the diagnosis information when the SOC of the power storage device is equal to or lower than the first threshold value and the shift range of the hybrid vehicle is the second range.

    Abstract: A vehicle capable of running by using dynamic power of a motor includes: a battery to perform input/output of electric power for the motor; a fuse to be connected in series with the battery and to melt when an electric current exceeding a permissible value flows; and a control apparatus to restrict magnitude of the input/output electric power of the battery to less than an upper limit electric power. The control apparatus calculates a degradation level of the fuse such that degradation proceeds whenever temperature of the fuse exceeds a threshold temperature, and reduces the upper limit electric power when the degradation level of the fuse exceeds a target degradation level. The target degradation level is a value that is lower than a limit degradation level corresponding to a degradation level when the degradation of the fuse reaches a limit and that becomes higher as mileage of the vehicle increases.

    Abstract: An electric storage system includes plural electric storage elements, a voltage detection circuit, a discharging circuit, and a controller. The controller is configured to: (a) control an operation of the discharging circuit on the basis of the voltage values detected by the voltage detecting circuit, (b) determine a first reference voltage value indicating a lowest voltage value from the voltage values of the plurality of electric storage elements, (c) discharge the electric storage element indicating the voltage value of which a voltage difference from the first reference voltage value is greater than a first threshold value, and (d) set the first threshold value to a smaller value as the first reference voltage value becomes lower.
