    Abstract: The battery system is a system for equalizing the capacity of each cell included in a battery in which a plurality of cells having a plateau region in a charge-discharge curve are connected in series, and includes an equalization unit for adjusting the capacity of each cell, and an ECU for controlling the charge-discharge of the battery. ECU determines which control method is used according to a predetermined determination condition for determining which of the first control method and the second control method is suitable for equalization in the present situation, and controls the equalization unit.

    Abstract: The battery system includes a battery and a control device for estimating an SOC of the battery. When SMR is not connected when the replacement of the battery is detected, SOC is estimated based on SOC-OCV property from the voltage of the unit cell when the battery ECU is activated. When SMR is connected, the SOC estimated from the voltage is corrected using an integrated value of current charged or discharged via SMR, and SOC is estimated.

    Abstract: The threshold cumulative value calculation unit calculates a threshold cumulative value. The current cumulating unit cumulates the charging current. When the first current cumulative value, which is the cumulative value from the start of charging, becomes equal to or larger than the threshold cumulative value, the maximum value detecting unit starts detection of the local maximum value of the amount of change in the voltage. The full charge capacity calculation unit calculates a full charge capacity by adding a first current cumulative value, which is a current cumulative value from when the maximum value is detected to when the full charge is detected, to a reference capacity when the maximum value is detected.

    Abstract: A power storage system includes a power storage device and a controller. The controller controls discharge processing based on voltage values of power storage elements. The controller determines an abnormal state according to voltage fluctuation after the voltage values are made uniform. The controller performs first processing when the following conditions i) and ii) are satisfied and performs second processing when the following conditions i) and iii) are satisfied. The condition i) is that the power storage elements are divided into a plurality of groups, each group consists of each power storage stack included in the power storage device. The condition ii) is that the voltage values of the power storage elements are different in each group. The condition iii) is that, in the plurality of groups in each of which the voltage values are made uniform, the voltage values are different among the plurality of groups.

    Abstract: An electric storage system includes plural electric storage elements, a voltage detection circuit, a discharging circuit, and a controller.
