摘要: A hollow structural component which includes an integral structure, partition walls intersecting each other within the integral structure, and a plurality of independent hollow portions formed as specified by the partition walls so as to be arranged within the integral structure. The integral structure is formed into one piece by one-shot molding or by one injection molding die which is caused to slide against each other between its stationary side and movable side for post-forming, whereby weight reduction of the hollow structural component, reduction in the amount of resin used, reduction in the number of parts involved, and improvement in the workability for assembling may be achieved with consequent cost reduction.

摘要: A conveyance device 4 for conveying a manuscript to an image reading section of a main body mounted by an image processing system is provided with a base member 6 removably fixed to the main body to provide a conveyance path 5, a driving mechanism and a manuscript guide member 8 for driving and conveying the manuscript. The manuscript is located between the manuscript guide member and a rib 9 at a left-hand side, and conveyed in a stable status. On a surface of a top end of a moving member 16 associated with the manuscript guide member is provided a white colored plate 17. A groove portion 18 other than the plate is dark, and the image is read to be binary coded whereby a pixel corresponding to the plate indicates "1". A position of the plate is located in the guide member or a right hand side edge of the manuscript, and a left hand side edge is fixed by the rib. Accordingly, a manuscript width (read width) Is determined from the pixel "1".

摘要: A rotation detection sensor, which is a wheel-speed sensor, has a detection unit placed in a metal capped cylindrical casing and a holder fit in an opening of the casing. A flange is provided along the entire edge of the opening of the casing. Between the flange and the holder, a viscoelastic liquid gasket is entirely applied. The edge of the opening of the casing and the exposed part of the holder are covered with a resin portion. Thus, the viscoelastic liquid gasket smoothly enters the gap between the casing and the holder to ensure the gap is closed. Moreover, since the viscoelastic liquid gasket is quickly cured owing to its solvent which is speedily volatilized, the gasket exhibits a good workability. Then, after the solvent is volatilized, a rubber-based elastic sealing material is produced. The sealing material thus withstands any temperature change without problem, it never occurs that the sealing material melts to leak out, and the sealing between the casing and the holder can be ensured.

摘要: A phone holder for detachably holding a mobile phone in an automotive vehicle is provided with a holder main body including an inner casing having a phone accommodating portion, a phone urging device having a phone actuating roller and the like for urging the mobile phone being inserted into the phone accommodating portion in a direction opposite from an inserting direction of the mobile phone, and a phone locking device which can be switched between a locking state where the mobile phone is locked in a specified accommodation position in the phone accommodating portion against a urging force of the phone urger and an unlocking state where the locking is released. The phone locking device is switched to the locking state as the mobile phone is inserted into the phone accommodating portion. The above locking is releasable by moving the mobile phone in its locked state in the inserting direction.

摘要: A vibration or shock absorbing member which is composed of a material capable of effecting injection molding such as plastics, rubber, ceramics, metallic powder mixed and kneaded with a specified binder, or glass powder mixed and kneaded with a specified binder, and includes an integral structure, a plurality of protrusions formed at least on one main flat surface of the integral structure, and a plurality of independent hollow portions provided symmetrically or in an aligned state within the integral structure through intersecting partition walls. Such integral structure is molded as one unit by one-shot molding (molding at one time) or by a single molding die for expanding the range of selection for materials and spring constants so as to achieve freedom in the choice of shapes and reduction in weight.
