When the areas are displayed in the large display device and one of the objects displayed in the information sharing area is designated, the designated object is displayed at a desired location in the editing display area and can be edited through cooperative works by all conferees centering around a conference chairman.

摘要： A slit forming apparatus consists essentially of a rotary blade assembly, a rotary backing roller, and pressing projections. The rotary blade assembly contacts with or abuts against a strip-shaped material travelling over the rotary backing roller and then penetrates said material to form slits in it. The backing roller has banks for holding the strip-shaped material pressed by the rotary blade assembly, and also has grooves for receiving the blades of the rotary blade assembly when they penetrate the strip-shaped material. The pressing projections provided at opposite side ends of the assembly prevent the undersired movement of said material in the lateral or longitudinal direction. With this apparatus, substantially defect-free satisfactory slits are formed in the strip-shaped material.

摘要： This invention describes novel tricyclic-bis-enone derivatives (TBEs), such as TBE-31, TBE-34, TBE-45 and water-soluble TBEs. The methods of preparing these compounds are also disclosed. The inventors demonstrate the ability of these new TBEs to inhibit proliferation of human myeloma cells, inhibit the induction of iNOS in cells stimulated with interferon-γ, induce heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), induce CD11b expression—a leukemia differentiation marker, inhibit proliferation of leukemia cells, induce apoptosis in human lung cancer, and induce apoptosis in other cancerous cells. The TBEs of this invention are expected to be useful agents for the treatment and prevention of many diseases, including cancer, neurological disorders, inflammation, and pathologies involving oxidative stress.

摘要： An illumination apparatus includes a reflector including a parabolic or ellipsoidal mirror, a light source arranged near a (first) focal point of the reflector, and a front mirror having a transparent window and a mirror surface symmetrical about the light axis. Luminous flux emitted from the light source is reflected from the reflector. In the case of the parabolic mirror, the front mirror has the same size as an entrance of an output light utilizing optical system, and the luminous flux exits toward the optical system as collimated light. In the case of the ellipsoidal mirror, the front mirror is arranged between two focal points of the ellipsoidal mirror, and the luminous flux is directed toward the second focal point. However, at least one part of the luminous flux is reflected from the front mirror and returned toward the first focal point.
