A guide projection 16 to which the top plate portion 8 is adapted to be fitted is formed on an end wall 14a of the terminal receiving chamber 13 of the connector housing 2. The deformation of connection terminals attached to a connector housing can be prevented, thereby enabling a smooth, positive connection of the printed circuit board.

    摘要: A connector comprises a connector housing with a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers and a rear holder which to be inserted into and coupled with a rear end of the connector housing for restricting pulling-up of terminals inserted respectively into the terminal accommodating chambers. A stopper body which is coupled on a rear section of the rear holder through a hinge section and which is interchangeable between a laid-down condition extending along an inserting direction of the rear holder and a standing-up condition which intersects with the laid-down condition is engaged with the rear end of the connector housing in a tentative locking state when the stopper body is biased into the standing-up condition. The stopper body is brought to the laid-down condition in a complete locking state so as to be accommodated within the rear end of the connector housing. A plurality of indication marks are displayed on a rear face of the stopper body when the stopper body is in the standing-up condition to indicate accommodation of the terminals into the respective terminal accommodating chambers.

In a preferred embodiment, the connectors further include a spring member for biasing these connectors during connection so as to be separated from each other in the insertion direction described above.

    摘要: An electrical connector capable of achieving proper positioning and redundant retainment of terminals therein by the single operation of attaching a retaining member. The retaining member has salient portions which extend into chambers holding the terminals. Upon attachment, the retaining member is constrained to move, from a position behind the terminals, in a directin parallel to a longitudinal axis of the chambers. Accordingly, installation of the retaining piece urges the terminals into proper position and engagement with an auxiliary retaining device. In addition, the retaining member can be fixed relative to remaining portions of the connector so as to cause the salient portions thereof that extend into the chambers to provide additional retainment to the terminals.

    摘要: A double-lock connector includes a connector housing having terminal receiving chambers, metal terminals for being inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers, and a terminal retainer connectable to a rear end portion of the connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, wherein even when the terminal retainer in the provisionally-connected condition, the metal terminal can be smoothly inserted into the connector housing. The double-lock connector of the present invention includes a connector housing and a terminal retainer for being inserted into the connector housing. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are separated from one another by a horizontal partition wall and a vertical partition wall. An elastic retaining piece is provided within each of the terminal receiving chambers. A rearwardly-extending tongue-like terminal guide piece is formed on the horizontal partition wall, separating the upper and lower terminal receiving chambers from each other, and is disposed centrally with the width of each terminal receiving chamber. A front end of the terminal guide piece is extended substantially to an inlet end of the connector housing.

Thus, connector fitting of one and another connector housings can be surely detected electrically. The fitting detection connector can have a buffer spring member which is arranged between the contact portion and intrusion protrusion of the first spring portion.
