摘要: A performance testing apparatus for a heat pipe includes an immovable portion having a cooling structure defined therein for cooling a heat pipe requiring to be tested. A movable portion is capable of moving relative to the immovable portion and has a cooling structure therein for cooling the heat pipe. A receiving structure is located between the immovable portion and the movable portion for receiving the heat pipe therein. At least one temperature sensor is attached to at least one of the immovable portion and the movable portion. The least one temperature sensor has a detecting section exposed in the receiving structure for thermally contacting the heat pipe in the receiving structure to detect a temperature of the heat pipe.

摘要: A performance testing apparatus for a heat pipe includes an immovable portion having a cooling structure defined therein for cooling the heat pipe. A movable portion is capable of moving relative to the immovable portion and has a cooling structure defined therein for cooling the heat pipe. A receiving structure is defined between the immovable portion and the movable portion for receiving the heat pipe therein. A concavo-convex cooperating structure is defined in the immovable portion and the movable portion to ensure the receiving structure being capable of precisely receiving the heat pipe. Temperature sensors are attached to the immovable portion and the movable portion to detect a temperature of the heat pipe. An enclosure encloses the immovable portion and the movable portions therein, and defines a space for movement of the movable portion relative to the immovable portion.

摘要: A performance testing apparatus for a heat pipe includes an immovable portion having a heating member located therein for heating an evaporating section of the heat pipe, and a movable portion capable of moving relative to the immovable portion. A receiving structure is defined between the immovable portion and the movable portion for receiving the evaporating section of the heat pipe therein. A positioning structure extends from the immovable portion and slideably receives the movable portion therein for avoiding the movable portion from deviating from the immovable portion during movement of the movable portion relative the immovable portion. Temperature sensors are attached to the immovable portion and the movable portion for detecting temperature of the heat pipe. An enclosure encloses the immovable portion and the movable portions therein, and defines a space therein for movement the movable portion relative to the immovable portion.

摘要: A heat pipe includes a casing (100) containing a working fluid therein and a capillary wick (200) arranged in an inner wall of the casing. The casing includes an evaporating section (400) at one end thereof and a condensing section (600) at an opposite end thereof, and a central section (500) located between the evaporating section and the condensing section. The thickness of the capillary wick formed at the condensing section is smaller than that of the capillary wick formed at the central section in a radial direction of the casing. The capillary wick is capable of reducing the thermal resistance between the working fluid and the casing at the condensing section.

摘要: A heat pipe includes a metal casing (100) filled with a working fluid therein, a capillary wick (200) provided inside of the metal casing and a tube (300) contacting with a surface of the capillary wick. The capillary wick extends in an axial direction of the casing. A plurality of spaced vapor passages (700) is formed by the capillary wick in the casing and a liquid channel (800) is defined by the capillary wick. The working fluid in vapor state flows along the vapor passages and the working fluid in liquid state flows along the liquid channel. The tube separates the vapor from the liquid at a place where the tube is located.

The casing has an evaporating section (400), a condensing section (600) and a central section (500) between the evaporating section and the condensing section. A first type of capillary wick (250) is provided in the central section of casing and a second type of capillary wick (240) is disposed at the evaporating section of the casing. The capillary pore size of the first type of capillary wick is larger than that of the second type of capillary wick and the first type of capillary wick is made by stacked metal sheets.
