    Abstract: A technique for power aware event scheduling including receiving, from a wireless access point, an indication of a scheduled reference event, determining, for an application event, an amount of time to generate data for a wireless uplink transmission associated with the application event, receiving timing information, the timing information indicating an amount of time to divide the generated data into data frames, determining an adjusted time based on the amount of time to generate data, the received timing information, and the scheduled reference event, triggering the application event at the adjusted time, and transmitting the data frames based on the scheduled reference event.

    Abstract: One example includes a passive radar receiver system including an RF receiver front-end to receive a wireless source signal and a reflected signal. An antenna switch of the front-end switches a first antenna to a receiver chain during a first time to generate first radar signal data based on a combined wireless signal comprising wireless source signal and the reflected signal, and switches a second antenna to the receiver chain during a second time to generate second radar signal data based on the combined wireless signal. A signal processor generates source signal data associated with the wireless source signal based on the first and second radar signal data and generates reflected signal data associated with the reflected signal based on the first and second radar signal data, and generates target radar data associated with a target based on the source and reflected radar signal data.

    Abstract: A device configured to communicate via a Wi-Fi channel obtains a contention-free access period on the Wi-Fi channel. The device sends a first probe packet to a receiving Wi-Fi device during the contention-free access period, with at least one parameter of a Wi-Fi transmitter of the Wi-Fi transceiver set to a first setting, and waits for a first reply period. The device sends a second probe packet to the receiving Wi-Fi device during the contention-free access period, with the at least one parameter of the Wi-Fi transmitter set to a second setting, where the second setting is based on a result of the first reply period, and waits for a second reply period. The device sets the at least one parameter of the Wi-Fi transmitter to a data packet setting, where the data packet setting is based at least on a result of the second reply period.

    Abstract: A device (e.g., a BLUETOOTH device) includes memory and one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to implement a BLUETOOTH host, a BLUETOOTH host-controller interface, and a BLUETOOTH controller. The one or more processors are further configured to cause the BLUETOOTH controller to receive, from the BLUETOOTH host via the BLUETOOTH host-controller interface, a message indicating first channel and timing information for sending data corresponding to a BLUETOOTH application. The one or more processors are further configured to cause the BLUETOOTH controller to initiate sending the data based on the first channel and timing information.

    Abstract: A network device includes a wireless transceiver configured to establish a bi-directional communication channel with a network gateway. The network device also includes a visible light communication (VLC) interface configured to establish a visible light communication channel with a configurator for the network gateway. The network device further includes a controller configured to operate with the configurator to execute out-of-band (OOB) provisioning of the network device for the network gateway, wherein data communicated on the visible light communication channel includes a portion of information related to bootstrap provisioning the network device with the network gateway using the device provisioning protocol (DPP).
