Abstract: A method for location of a beacon includes: executing R sequences, wherein R is a whole number equal to or greater than 2, each including reception by a first antenna network and a second antenna network of a signal originating from the beacon, wherein the signals of the R sequences are of different wavelengths; calculating a first estimation function for angles of arrival of the signal on the first antenna network and of a second estimation function for angles of arrival of the signal on the second antenna network; and executing a mutual correlation of the R first estimation functions and the R second estimation functions, for the respective determination of a first angle between the beacon and the first network, and of a second angle between the beacon and the second network.

Abstract: A method for detecting an RF signal detected by a super-regenerative receiver (1). The receiver includes a reference oscillator (4) for generating an oscillation in the oscillator, a bias current generator (7) for supplying a bias current, an oscillation detector (6) connected between an output (coilp) of the oscillator and the bias current generator for controlling when an RF signal is received by the receiver, and an impedance matching unit (3) disposed between the input of the receiver and the reference oscillator (4). Following activation of a start control signal, detection of the oscillation of the reference oscillator is performed, and once the reference oscillator oscillates above a critical increasing bias current value, the oscillation detector orders the bias current generator to cut off the bias current and thus stop the oscillation of the reference oscillator to reduce the overall electricity consumption during an RF signal detection phase.

Abstract: A reference oscillator for a transmitter and/or a receiver of electromagnetic signals. The reference oscillator is suitable for generating a modified reference signal alternating ON times and OFF times with a predefined duty cycle from a signal supplied by a reference resonator. The reference oscillator also includes an adjustment circuit suitable for adjusting the duty cycle of the modified reference signal according to at least one adjustment parameter dependent on a rank of at least one harmonic component of the modified reference signal so as to minimize at least one harmonic component of the modified reference signal. A frequency synthesizer and a radio frequency signal receiver can include such a reference oscillator.

Abstract: A method is provided for enhancing the detection of the start time of a reference oscillator (4) of a super-regenerative receiver (1), which includes the reference oscillator, a bias current generator (7), an oscillation detector (6), and an impedance matching unit (3). Following the supply of the bias current (i_vco) after receiving the activation control signal (Sosc), an oscillation detection is performed by the oscillation detector (6), and once oscillation is detected, an additional amplification current (iboost) dependent on the envelope of the detected oscillation, of an amplification current generation circuit is supplied to the reference oscillator (4) in addition to the bias current to amplify the oscillation signal to be above a critical oscillation start threshold so as to precisely define the start time of the oscillator, and enable the oscillation detector (6) to order the stoppage of oscillation of the reference oscillator (4).

Abstract: In the case of the process for secure access to a determined space, it is provided that after activation of the wearable object, a first coded signal is transmitted from the access or unlocking device, this first coded signal is received in the object and a coded response signal is transmitted with synchronization to the device after a defined time of transmission. A processing of the coded response signal converted in the processing unit of the device is conducted in order to check the defined time delay and the response code of the wearable object and to determine the flight times of the signals between the device and the wearable object. The distance separating the wearable object and the access or unlocking device is thus calculated to authorize access to the determined space if the calculated distance is below a determined threshold after recognition of the wearable object.
