    摘要: A response period is determined arbitrarily. A satisfactory detecting ability may not be provided because of an artifact or the like contained in a signal. Therefore, an effective detection method and an effective display method of presenting results of detection must be developed. A series of tasks (stimuli) or a selected measurement signal is used as a reference signal, and a phase difference of any other measurement signal from the reference signal is calculated. The synchronousness of the phase of the measurement signal with the phase of the reference signal is numerically expressed. The thus obtained numerical value is statistically processed in order to numerically express a degree of reliability. Thus, a brain activity or a functional connectivity is visualized.

    摘要: A drive system with small power loss in power conversion is provided. The drive system has an AC conversion device for converting commercial AC power from a commercial AC power supply and a DC conversion device. An AC power supply path for supplying power to discharge tubes, and a DC power supply path for supplying power to an image processing circuit or the like, are provided independently. The AC conversion device converts commercial AC power into converted AC power and gives the converted AC power to an AC drive device directly. Consequently, it is possible to reduce conversion steps for generating converted AC power and to reduce power loss that occurs in a conversion process. In particular, when power consumption of the discharge tubes is large, it is possible to reduce power loss in an entire liquid crystal display apparatus effectively by providing the AC conversion device.

The cross-sectional size of the signal line in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, the thickness and width of the dielectric sheet, and so forth are selected to obtain a predetermined characteristic impedance for the cable. Each of the pair of ground layers is sized so as to be substantially wider than the signal line.

    摘要: The disclosed rotary compressor includes a wire gauze disposed in its shell to traverse a passage through which a compressed gaseous refrigerant from a delivery tube flows to a discharge tube within the shell. Further an L roof-shaped partition may be interposed between the top of a compressor unit and the housing to divide a space around the compressor unit into two space portions in which the delivery and discharge tubes open respectively.
