摘要: An air-conditioning apparatus includes an outdoor unit and a relay unit. The outdoor unit includes a compressor compressing and discharging refrigerant and a heat-source-side heat exchanger performing heat exchange between the refrigerant and outside air. The relay unit and the outdoor unit forms a refrigerant circuit. The outdoor unit includes first and flow switching devices each switching an associated flow passage for the refrigerant between a plurality of flow passages, according to an operation mode. An outflow pipe and an inflow pipe through which refrigerant flows from the outdoor unit to the relay unit and from the relay unit into the outdoor unit, respectively, are between the outdoor unit and the relay unit. The first flow switching device is connected to the compressor, the second flow switching device, and the outflow pipe. The second flow switching device is connected to the first flow switching device and the inflow pipe.

摘要: An air conditioner of the present invention includes: an outdoor unit having an outdoor heat exchanger and a compressor installed therein; a plurality of indoor units connected to the outdoor unit and having an indoor heat exchanger installed therein; a four-way valve provided on a discharge part side of the compressor; a refrigerant tube having first to third refrigerant tubes and connecting the four-way valve and the indoor heat exchanger, in which the first refrigerant tube is branched from between the four-way valve and the outdoor heat exchanger such that some of a refrigerant discharged from the compressor is fed into the indoor heat exchanger while bypassing the outdoor heat exchanger, the second refrigerant tube is connected to the four-way valve to feed all of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor into the indoor heat exchanger, and the third refrigerant tube is connected to the second refrigerant tube in parallel; and a heat pump valve provided at the third refrigerant tube to selectively close the third refrigerant tube. The air conditioner includes an outdoor unit that can be applied to simultaneous cooling and heating concurrent type air conditioners and cooling and heating switching type air conditioners through the opening and closing of the heat pump valve.

摘要: An air-conditioning apparatus includes indoor units including a plurality of use side heat exchangers that exchange heat between air and a heat medium, and a heat medium relay unit having a plurality of heat exchangers related to heat medium. A plurality of pumps deliver the heat medium involved in heating or cooling performed by the plurality of heat exchangers related to heat medium to each passage and circulate the heat medium. A plurality of heat medium flow switching devices perform switching so that the heat medium from a selected passage flows into and flows out of each use side heat exchanger. An expansion tank is connected to a passage alleviates a pressure change caused by a volumetric change of the heat medium, and a pressure equalizing pipe connects each inlet passage or each outlet passage of the heat medium sending devices.

摘要: An outdoor unit is configured to include a compressor and a heat source side heat exchanger. Indoor units are configured to include first expansion devices and use side heat exchangers, and air-condition an air-conditioned space. Branching devices, connected by pipes to the outdoor unit by a plurality of main pipes and connected by pipes to each indoor unit by a plurality of branch pipes, are configured to branch a refrigerant from a side of the main pipes and circulate the refrigerant to the branch pipes, and converge the refrigerant from a side of the branch pipes and circulate the refrigerant to the main pipes. A refrigerant concentration detecting device is installed in a non-air-conditioned space. A shutoff valve control device is configured, upon determining that the refrigerant has leaked, to control shutoff devices and to shut off the refrigerant flows.

摘要: A cooling/heating switching unit is provided that is capable of simply and reliably detecting leak of refrigerant. The switching unit includes: first and second fittings having a high/low-pressure-gas main pipe and a low-pressure-gas main pipe connected thereto, respectively, wherein the main pipes are linked to an outdoor unit; a third fitting having an indoor-unit connection pipe connected thereto, wherein the connection pipe is linked to indoor units; an expansion valve for high/low-pressure-gas pipe, an expansion valve for low-pressure-gas pipe, and expansion-valve driving sections that selectively connect the first or second fitting with the third fitting via a refrigerant pipe to control a flow direction of refrigerant; a housing that houses the refrigerant pipe; a heat insulating material that fills inside of the housing to insulate the refrigerant pipe arranged inside of the housing from heat; and a refrigerant leak detection sensor installed outside of the housing to detect leaked refrigerant.

摘要: This air conditioner performs a cooling operation and a heating operation in parallel with each other with an outdoor unit and indoor units connected together through two communication pipes. The air conditioner includes a switching mechanism changing the directions of refrigerants flowing through the communication pipes depending on whether a heating dominant operation is being performed in a first load region where a cooling load is relatively light or a second load region where the cooling load is heavier than in the first load region. In the second load region, the switching mechanism allows a low-pressure refrigerant to flow from the indoor units to the outdoor unit through the second communication pipe thicker than the first communication pipe to reduce a performance deterioration due to the pressure loss involved with the heating dominant operation.

摘要: In an air-conditioning apparatus, a heat source side heat exchanger, intermediate heat exchangers, and use side heat exchangers are formed in separate bodies respectively and adapted to be disposed at separate locations one another. In a heat medium circulation circuit where the intermediate heat exchanger and the use side heat exchanger are connected, temperature sensors are installed. An anti-freezing operation mode is provided in which, when the detection temperatures of the temperature sensors become equal to or lower than a set temperature Ts while a compressor or pumps are stopped, the heat medium is circulated to perform anti-freezing of the heat medium.
