摘要: There is provided a computer-implemented method comprising the steps of: receiving an arousal signal representative of an occurrence an arousal of a subject; receiving a heartrate signal representative of a heartrate of the subject; determining a recovery response phase signal in the heartrate signal; wherein the recovery response phase signal is representative of a recovery response phase in which the heartrate decreases after the arousal; determining a deviation of the recovery response phase signal relative to a reference signal. Further, there is provided an apparatus comprising a sensor system and a processing unit coupled to the sensor system. The sensor system is configured to provide a heartrate signal representative of a heartrate of a subject. The sensor system is configured to provide an arousal signal representative of an occurrence of an arousal of a subject. The processing unit is configured to perform the computer-implemented method.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for remote patient management and monitoring. The patient is monitored with a wireless sensor system connected to an application executing on a patient user computing device. The system continuously monitors physiological parameters, such as, but not limited to, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, perfusion index, pleth variability index, and/or respiration rate from the photoplethysmograph. The system triggers alarms if the patient physiological data violates thresholds. Care providers review patient data and associated alarm(s) with graphical user interfaces.

摘要: A medical device for the measurement of brain temperature data through the Abreu brain thermal tunnel (ABTT) is described. Brain temperature measurement is the key and universal indicator of both disease and health equally, and is the only vital sign that cannot be artificially changed by emotional states. Currently, brain temperature is difficult to measure. However, the present disclosure describes a device that readily locates the Abreu brain thermal tunnel, and is configured to provide a non-contact temperature reading of the brain. Embodiments of the disclosed device enable an individual to measure their own temperature and enable medical professionals to measure the temperature of others.

摘要: A sensor circuit that is capable of sensing of neural action potentials is disclosed. The circuit can be designed to minimize power dissipation and total silicon area so that it can be incorporated into a massively parallel sensor array and ultimately implanted in the body (e.g. into the brain) in a safe manner. The circuit can also be designed to be tunable such that it can be optimized in silico prior to fabrication, and can be optimized through the use of controllable current sources after fabrication.
