Abstract:
Some embodiments relate to an area efficient electrostatic discharge (ESD) clamp comprising an RC trigger circuit, having one or more low-voltage, thin-oxide devices, which is configured to operate with a high-voltage power supply. In some embodiments, the ESD clamp comprises an RC trigger circuit connected between a first circuit node having a first voltage and a second circuit node having a second voltage. The RC trigger circuit comprises a resistive element connected in series with a thin-oxide MOS capacitor. The MOS capacitor has a source and drain connected to an intermediate supply voltage between the first and second voltage, and a body connected to the second voltage. By connecting the source and drain to the intermediate supply voltage, the thin-oxide MOS capacitor is able to reliably operate with a high-voltage power supply.
Abstract:
A light source module and a wavelength conversion module are provided. The light source module includes a first light emitting device, a reflection unit, a wavelength conversion unit, a second light emitting device and a light combination unit. The first light emitting device emits an exciting beam. The reflection unit is disposed on a transmission path of the exciting beam. The wavelength conversion unit is disposed on the reflection unit and located on the transmission path of the exciting beam. The exciting beam is obliquely incident into the wavelength conversion unit along an optical axis of the first light emitting device, and the wavelength conversion unit converts the exciting beam into a first color beam. The second light emitting device emits a second color beam. The light combination unit is disposed on transmission paths of the first color beam and the second color beam.
Abstract:
A frequency tracking method applied to a positioning system is provided. The method includes receiving a baseband signal, the baseband signal includes a line of sight (LOS) signal and a multipath signal; generating a cost function according to equal step frequencies, the baseband signal and a signal average energy; and generating an estimated LOS frequency according to the cost function.
Abstract:
A programmable integer and fractional frequency divider is provided. The programmable divider divides a frequency of an input signal by a first divisor to generate an output signal, and comprises a programmable integer frequency divider and a fractional number switch. The programmable integer frequency divider divides the frequency of the input signal by a second divisor to generate the output signal, wherein the second divisor is first or second integers depending on a divisor switching signal. The fractional number switch calculates a pulse count of the output signal, and generates the divisor switching signal to switch from the first to the second integer when the pulse count of the output signal equals to a predetermined pulse count determined by a fractional part of the first divisor, and receives a fractional divisor control signal to change the predetermined pulse count, thereby changing the fractional part of the first divisor.
Abstract:
A receiving method for dual-mode receiver. When a received communication signal is a wideband signal, the dual-mode receiver is configured as a direct-conversion receiver, and when a received communication signal is a narrowband signal, the dual-mode receiver is configured as a low-IF receiver.
Abstract:
A frequency synthesizer for generating a plurality of frequencies of a MB-OFDM UWB system is disclosed, wherein the frequencies include first to fourteenth frequencies from low to high and any of the adjacent two frequencies differs by a basic intervallic frequency. The frequency synthesizer includes a phase locked loop generating an initial signal with a frequency equal to the second frequency, an intervallic frequency generator generating first to third intervallic frequencies from low to high and all being integers times the basic intervallic frequency and generating a forth intervallic frequency equal to the basic intervallic frequency, and first to third mixers connected in series, respectively receiving the fourth intervallic frequency, one of the first to third intervallic, and the first intervallic frequency, to respectively generate the first to third frequencies, the fourth to ninth and the thirteenth to fourteenth frequencies, and the tenth to twelfth frequencies.

Abstract:
A locking structure fixes an interface card having a lateral portion and an end portion to a main board. The locking structure includes a sliding member having a sliding groove for the lateral portion of the interface card to slide along and a containing groove for placement of an elastic member; and the elastic member having a bending rod rotatably installed in the containing groove and a rotating portion protruding to a region outside of the containing groove when the bending rod is disposed in the containing groove. The rotation portion props against the end portion of the interface card when the interface card is in the sliding groove.
