摘要: A device obtains a data structure from a computing device, and divides the data structure into data segments. The device obtains a list of user devices from the computing device and obtains, from one or more network devices, a respective location and a respective reachability of each user device. The device determines, based on the respective location of each user device, a set of user devices connected to a base station. The device determines a communication capability of the base station, and determines, based on the communication capability, a subset of the set of user devices and one or more sets of the data segments. The device sends, based on the respective reachability of each user device of the subset of user devices, the one or more sets of data segments to the subset of user devices via the base station.

The processor may be further configured to receive, from a gateway device, data flow information relating to data flows associated with the UE device; receive, from a policy device, policy information relating to policies applied to the data flows associated with the UE device; generate a record for the UE device based on the received data flow information and the received policy information, wherein the record identifies at least one account charge based on a particular data flow associated with the UE device; and provide the generated charging record to an account system.

摘要: In some implementations, a device may partition a coverage area associated with a network to form one or more geographic sectors, and may determine a pathloss value for each frequency band of multiple frequency bands and a spatial distribution between cells, within the geographic sector, for each frequency band. The device may determine a degree of contiguous coverage for each frequency band within the geographic sector based on the pathloss value and the spatial distribution between cells for that frequency band, and may determine, based on the degree of contiguous coverage for each frequency band, a specific frequency band, of the multiple frequency bands, to be used as a primary carrier for carrier aggregation in the geographic sector. The device may output information that identifies a carrier aggregation profile that indicates the specific frequency band to be used as the primary carrier for carrier aggregation in the geographic sector.

The marking may be performed on “user” traffic, which may be traffic that is generated or sent via the network by an application or service (e.g., a voice call service, a content streaming service, etc.), as opposed to “synthetic” or “test” traffic, which is traffic that is generated or sent for the purposes of testing performance of the network (e.g., traffic related to a “speed test” or the like).

Location information of one or more User Equipment (“UEs”) may be monitored and compared to policy information to determine that the locations exhibit at least a threshold level of population density. Further, remedial measures may be taken when such situations are detected, such as alerting devices that are located within, or are heading towards, such locations.

摘要: Systems and methods provide a short data, low latency service using a Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) network. A network device receives, in a core network, an attach request from an end device and detect whether a packet size range for data transmissions from the end device is within a configured size threshold. The network device directs, when the packet size is within the configured size threshold, routing of the data transmissions via a control plane function of an edge network to a local instance of an application server in the edge network. The network device directs, when the packet size is over the configured size threshold, routing of the data transmissions via a user plane function of the edge network to a local instance of an application server in the edge network.
