    摘要: An image display system includes a camera part and an image display part. The image display part includes a user analyzer, a gamma corrector, a gamma voltage generator, and a display panel. The camera part takes a picture of a user and generates a user image signal. The user analyzer calculates the user's viewing direction based on the user image signal. The gamma corrector generates a correction gamma value based on the viewing direction. The gamma voltage generator generates a gamma voltage based on the correction gamma value, and the display panel displays an image corresponding to the gamma voltage. Accordingly, the image display system provides the image having an optimized gamma curve to the user in real time even without a separate input from the user.

    摘要: A driving method of external electrode fluorescent lamp inverter for backlight. In the driving method, a square wave voltage frequency for driving the external electrode fluorescent lamp is applied to the primary side of a transformer in the region whose frequency is substantially ½ of the resonant frequency which is determined by the capacitance of the external electrode fluorescent lamp and the leakage inductance of the transformer. Then, the external electrode fluorescent lamp is caused to emit light by the self-discharge to thereby obtain high efficiency and high luminance. The driving method of external electrode fluorescent lamp inverter for backlight includes applying a square wave voltage for driving an external electrode fluorescent lamp to the primary side of a transformer; and applying the square wave voltage to the primary side of transformer in a region where the frequency thereof is substantially ½ of a resonant frequency, which is determined by the capacitance of the external electrode fluorescent lamp and the leakage inductance of the transformer, and thus causing the external electrode fluorescent lamp to emit light by the self-discharge.

    摘要: A piston support structure for a reciprocating compressor is provided that includes a piston receiving a linear reciprocating driving power generated by a reciprocating motor. The piston is in a compression space formed in a cylinder and a first resonant spring and a second resonant spring are positioned on both sides of the piston. The first resonant spring and the second resonant spring elastically support the linear reciprocating motion of the piston. The spring constant of the second resonant spring opposite to the first resonant spring is larger than the spring constant of the first resonant spring positioned on the side of the compression space of the cylinder. Accordingly, the stress concentration of the second resonant springs for elastically supporting the piston is reduced. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the fatigue of the second resonant springs and to extend the durability of the resonant springs.

    摘要: A backlight unit includes light source groups, a converter, a compensator, a detector and a protector. Each of the light source groups includes a light source, and the converter boosts an input voltage to a driving voltage that is supplied to the light source groups. The compensator is connected to the light source groups and compensates a deviation between currents fed back to the compensator from each of the light source groups. The detector is connected between the compensator and the light source groups and detects a maximum voltage from among feedback voltages fed back to the compensator from each of the light source groups. The protector is connected to the detector and receives the maximum voltage, and compares the maximum voltage to a reference voltage to generate a compared result. The protector outputs a protection signal to the converter based on the compared result.
