Abstract: A process for applying a release agent and pressure sensitive adhesive to cut sheet media to thereby eliminate a separate release liner. A silicone oil plus additive release layer is applied during fusing on a top surface of cut media and then UV cured. A pressure sensitive adhesive layer is applied next. The cut sheets are then stacked and a compressive force is applied that transfers the pressure sensitive adhesive from one sheet to another and helps hold the stack together.

Abstract: An automated high speed multi-bin card collation system that takes die cut greeting cards at high speeds and diverts them on a customer by customer basis into multiple bins. A series of diverters are included that actuate between customer jobs to divert and collate the jobs independently into the bins. Each bin has a retractable floor that allows the individualized jobs to be collated prior to dropping onto a conveyor system. The conveyor then conveys the collated card jobs to a downstream location.

Abstract: A mailer for biological samples comprises a substrate, the substrate being foldable into a main panel and a cover panel. The main panel has formed therein at least one swab member, the swab member suitable, in size, shape, and rigidity, to act as a swab for obtaining a biological sample. The swab member is foldable relative to the main panel so the tip of the swab member protrudes from an edge of the main panel and an edge of the cover panel folded over the main panel. A machine-readable code or an electronic device is disposed on the swab member.
