    摘要: An illumination device of a display device is configured such that heat of light-emitting elements is dissipated via a light source substrate, a light source support member made of a metal, and a first frame made of a metal. The illumination device also includes a second frame made of a resin that is disposed such that a closed space is formed along the light source support member between the frame and the light source support member. The second frame has an opening portion that communicates with the closed space, and the first frame and a third frame each has an opening portion at a position that overlaps the opening portion of the second frame, thereby allowing heat of the light-emitting elements to be dissipated through the closed space and an opening which is formed by opening portions.

    摘要: In a light guide plate used in a lighting device, light-emitting elements are arranged at first intervals. However, the light emitting elements are partly arranged at second interval which is larger than the first intervals. Therefore, a rectangular shaped second diffusing areas formed by grooves are provided in an outer edge area arranged between a first diffusing area having a plurality of grooves (diffusing pattern) formed thereon and an end portion of the light guide plate so as to have a width smaller than the second intervals so as to face areas in which the light emitting elements are arranged at the second intervals.

    摘要: In an illumination apparatus, a plurality of light-emitting elements are mounted to one surface (a first surface) of a light source substrate. The light source substrate is anchored to a substrate support portion using a screw that is tightened down into the substrate support portion from the opposite side as the light source substrate. Meanwhile, the light source substrate includes a metallic plate that configures another surface (a second surface) and a flexible wiring board that is affixed to the metallic plate on the side of the one surface (the first surface), and a through-hole that passes through the metallic plate is formed, as the hole for tightening down the screw, in the location of the light source substrate in which the screw is tightened.

    摘要: In a lighting device of a display device, a plurality of light emitting elements are mounted on a surface of a light source substrate, and the light source substrate is supported by a light source support member by means of a positioning (fixing) structure such as a metal screw. The plurality of light emitting elements are divided into a plurality of blocks, and the emission light amount can be controlled with respect to each of the blocks. Although the head of the screw is exposed on the surface of the light source substrate, the screw is located between adjacent ones of the blocks. Therefore, even though the illuminating light intensity becomes partially discontinuous owing to the presence of the screw, degradation of display quality originating from such discontinuity can be suppressed.
