摘要： A signaling method between a MAC (Medium Access Control) layer entity of a transmission apparatus and a MAC layer entity of a reception apparatus in a packet communication system including the transmission apparatus and the reception apparatus wherein upon receiving a signaling request, the MAC layer entity of the transmission apparatus transmits a MAC signaling message including control information and a signaling indication indicating transmission of the control information and the MAC layer entity of the reception apparatus determines whether the MAC signaling message includes the signaling indication, and receives the control information included in the MAC signaling message, if the MAC signaling message includes the signaling indication.

摘要： A communication system includes a shared channel occupied by a plurality of user equipments (UEs) and spread with a plurality of channelization codes to transmit user data, and a plurality of control channels for transmitting control information related to the shared channel in order to enable the UEs to receive the shared channel signal. The system generates a plurality of control channel sets by classifying the control channels into a predetermined number of control channels, and assigns the control channel sets so that each of the UEs monitors a particular control channel set among the control channel sets. Upon detecting necessity to modify a control channel set to be assigned to a particular UE among the UEs, a Node B determines to modify a control channel set assigned into the UE to a new control channel set at a predetermined point of time to come. After determining to modify the control channel set, the Node B transmits an indicator indicating expected modification of the control channel set and information on the control channel set to be modified to the UE over a downlink.

A Node B determines an offset between a starting orthogonal code among the assigned orthogonal codes and the first of a plurality of successive orthogonal codes available to the HSDPA communication system, determines the number of the assigned orthogonal codes counted from the starting orthogonal code being the number of the code channels, forms orthogonal code information indicating the offset and the number of the orthogonal codes, and transmits the orthogonal code information to a UE.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for capturing an image in a portable terminal. Upon receiving an image for preview and an image for capture simultaneously by a camera module, the controller simultaneously outputs the image for the preview and the image for the capture to a main controller during a simultaneous output mode. The received image for the preview is displayed and stored for a predetermined time period for a subsequent retrieval, so that when a capture key is pressed to capture a target object, the stored image corresponding to a time point at which the capture key is activated is retrieved and stored.

摘要： A liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a first substrate and an opposing second substrate; a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode disposed in a pixel area, on the first substrate, and including a plurality of branch electrodes; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and second electrodes. Branches electrode of the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are interlaced. The first pixel electrode has an extension disposed adjacent to the center of the pixel area, and a minimum distance between the extension and the adjacent branch electrode is different from an average minimum between the adjacent branch electrodes.
