The method includes transmitting common control information by a first Base Station (BS) to a second BS and broadcasting by the second BS the common control information received from the first BS.     摘要： A method for transmitting/receiving data in a communication system using multiple frequency bands. The transmission method includes fragmenting a desired transmission Service Data Unit (SDU) in units of Packet Data Units (PDUs); and transmitting the fragmented PDUs over at least two frequency bands among the multiple frequency bands. Each of the multiple frequency bands is supported by a system having backward compatibility with a legacy system. The reception method includes decrypting a wireless resource (MAP) allocated separately for each of the frequency bands to extract fragment information therefrom; and receiving PDUs over the frequency bands separately, and restoring the SDU according to fragment information corresponding to the corresponding frequency band.

    摘要： For cooperative transmission in a broadband wireless communication system, an apparatus and operating method of a Base Station (BS) in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving a cooperative transmission REQuest (REQ) message which includes at least one of information designating a cooperative Mobile Station (MS), a pilot pattern of the cooperative MS, a variable determining a permutation pattern, and an orthogonal code of the cooperative MS, from a control station, allocating a resource of a predefined Coordinated MultiPoint transmit/receive (CoMP) zone occupying part of a frame, to at least one cooperative MS designated by the cooperative transmission REQ message, and communicating with the at least one cooperative MS according a cooperative transmission scheme using the resource of the CoMP zone.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for improving the reception performance of a Mobile Station (MS) in a multiple antenna system are provided. In an apparatus of a Base Station (BS) in the multiple antenna system, upon receipt of a request for interference cancellation for a first MS serviced by a neighbor BS, a channel estimator estimates a channel from the first MS and a channel from a second MS serviced by the BS. A beam coefficient generator generates a first beam coefficient based on channel estimates of the first and second MSs and a second beam coefficient based on the channel estimate of the second MS. An interference cancellation decider determines whether to perform interference cancellation for the first MS using the first and second beam coefficients.
