摘要: A bent connector terminal with improved stability when held within a groove (23) of a comb-shaped, press-fit jig (20,22), the terminal aligned with a hole (32) of a printed circuit board (30) and to be press-fitted into the hole. In one embodiment, at least one widened portion (12e) is formed on the connector terminal between a tip flange part (12b) and a swelled or widened part (12c), the widening of the part (12c) caused by bending of the connector terminal. The widened portion (12e) and the swelled part (12c) serve to stabilize the connector terminal within the groove (23) of the press-fit jig as the jig is used to press on the tip flange part (12b). In another embodiment, the connector terminal includes notches (12d) at the location where the connector terminal is to be bent, to compensate for widening caused by the bending step so that no swelled or broadened area is produced at this region. In this embodiment, since no widening is produced at the bent region the press-fit jig grooves may be narrowed so that the bent connector terminal is supported evenly between the bend and the flange part (12b) and stability is improved.

摘要: A sound-absorbing material and a cable reel including the same are produced inexpensively and are able to attenuate sliding noise and vibration noise. A sound-absorbing material 20 is made of a polyethylene film 20a and is formed into a thin waved sheet having continuous wave crests and wave troughs. A synthetic paper 20b having a lubricative surface is attached to the wave crests on a front side of the polyethylene film 20a through an adhesive. As an air layer 21 is defined in a space surrounded by the wave crests and wave troughs, any sounds which are transmitted to the polyethylene film 20a collide on the wave crests and wave troughs thereby being effectively attenuated and absorbed. The sound-absorbing material 20 is struck on a bearing surface 12a of a stationary member 11 by way of an adhesive. A lateral lower edge of a flat cable 15 slides on the lubricative surface of the synthetic paper 20b, thereby suppressing generation of sliding noise. Vibration noise during an idling mode collides on the wave crests and wave troughs thereby being effectively attenuated and adsorbed.

摘要: A rotary connection unit includes a fixed-side member, a rotary-side member rotatable to the fixed-side member around a central rotational axis, the rotary-side member and the fixed-side member defining an annular space, and a cable received in the space in such a manner that one end portion thereof is held by the fixed-side member, and the other end portion thereof is held by the rotary-side member. The space has a winding surface on which the cable is wound to a predetermined direction at a predetermined taper angle with respect to the central rotational axis. The cable is received in the space in such a manner that the cable is folded back midway so that the cable is wound to a direction opposite to the predetermined direction.

摘要: A cable reel includes a sound-absorbing material which can effectively attenuate both sliding noise and vibration noise and can be produced inexpensively. The cable reel comprises a stationary member assembly and a movable member assembly rotatably mounted on the stationary member assembly. The stationary and movable member assemblies define a cable containing chamber having an annular configuration and upper and lower bearing surfaces. The cable containing chamber accommodates a flat cable in a coiled manner between the upper and lower bearing surfaces. Opposite ends of the flat cable are led out from the stationary and movable member assemblies through electrical means. The sound-absorbing material is made of a foam material and includes at least three straps. The straps extend radially and are equally spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction on at least the lower bearing surface of the cable containing chamber so that the flat cable slides on the straps of the sound-absorbing material.

摘要: A high-speed sprchronous multiplexing apparatus has a low-speed device and a high-speed device and employs electrical signals to interface the devices with each other. The low-speed device is connected to a low-speed digital circuit. The high-speed device is connected to a high-speed synchronous multiplexing circuit. The apparatus also has a clock supplier for supplying a reference clock signal that defines a communication rate, to each of the low- and high-speed devices. The apparatus further has an alarm processor for separating faults in the low- and high-speed devices. The low- and high-speed devices are interfaced with each other with the use of the reference clock signal and electrical STM-0/STS-1 signals that employ a frame signal synchronized with the reference clock signal.
