Abstract: A master node (MN) may receive a secondary node (SN) change required message from a source SN. The MN may send an indication of a maximum number of candidate PSCells that can be configured by a target SN, in an SN addition request message, to the target SN. The MN may receive, from the target SN, at least one candidate PSCell configuration, in an SN addition request acknowledge message, in response to the SN addition request message. The MN may send a RRC message to a wireless communication device, the RRC message including the at least one candidate PSCell configuration and one or more associated CPAC execution conditions.

Abstract: A system and method for improving mobility performance. The system and method include receiving, by a target master wireless communication node (MN) from a source master wireless communication node (MN), a handover request to begin a handover procedure; and transmitting, by the target MN to a target secondary wireless communication node (SN), a first message to inform the target SN about a type of SN addition or change procedure to perform the handover request, wherein the first message causes the target SN to send a second message to the target MN to inform the target MN of one or more configured primary secondary (PSCells).

Abstract: A method includes receiving a first radio resource control (RRC) message including at least one of a conditional handover (CHO) configuration and a conditional primary secondary cell addition or change (CPAC) configuration. The CHO configuration includes a CHO configuration index, a CHO candidate cell configuration, and a CHO execution condition. The CPAC configuration includes a CPAC configuration index, a CPAC candidate cell configuration, and a CPAC execution condition. The method includes selecting, responsive to receiving the first RRC message and based on at least one of the CHO execution condition and the CPAC execution condition, a special cell (SpCell) of a wireless communication node to perform a random access procedure (RAP); and transmitting, to the wireless communication node, a second RRC message to inform the wireless communication node that the wireless communication device selected the SpCell to perform the RAP.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for wireless communication are described. In one example aspect, a method includes performing, by a communication node, a handover procedure from a source base station to a target base station based on information associated with a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session. The information indicates that at least one tunnel in a list of tunnels that carry user data has a one-to-one correspondence with a Quality of Service (QoS) flow. The method also includes transmitting, for the handover procedure, downlink data to both the source base station and the target base station by the communication node.

Abstract: A method for configuring a gap includes transmitting, by a first base station, a first message to a user equipment to configure the gap, the first message including first time reference information and the first timing reference information indicating a cell including, a primary cell of the first base station, a primary cell of a second base station, or a serving cell; and configuring, by using the first message, the user equipment to use a system frame number and a subframe of the cell for gap calculation.

Abstract: Provided are a handover method and apparatus. The method includes following steps: a UE receives an RRC reconfiguration message sent by a source base station, where the RRC reconfiguration message includes a list of target cells for performing a conditional handover by the UE, information of each target cell in the list of the target cells for performing the conditional handover includes at least one of the following: frequency information of the target cell, a physical cell identifier of the target cell, a conditional handover command of the target cell generated by the target cell, or at least one piece of measurement configuration identifier information, and the at least one piece of measurement configuration identifier information is used for instructing an execution condition for the UE to perform a conditional handover in the target cell; and the UE performs a handover according to the RRC reconfiguration message.

Abstract: Provided are a method, device and apparatus for acquiring information, and a computer storage medium. In the method for acquiring information, a first node receives a message transmitted by a second node, where the message is related to a cell group of the second node, each cell group includes one or more cells, and each cell belongs to a same wideband carrier. The first node acquires information on a cell under the second node from the message, that is, information on a cell in the each cell group. A device and an apparatus for acquiring information, and a storage medium are further provided.

Abstract: In wireless communication, a device may change, add, or handover between cells of network access for inter-cell mobility. This may include Layer 1 and/or Layer 2 (L1/L2) signaling for a user equipment (UE) moving between cells in a network. The signaling can reduce the mobility interruption time and improve robustness of a handover. The movement may be triggered by the network or the UE. A Layer 1 and/or Layer 3 (L1/L3) measurement is used for the inter-cell mobility. The mobility may be coordinated based on interactions between a centralized unit (CU) and a distributed unit (DU). The procedures can reduce interruption time and improve reliability.
