摘要: Provided is a boring tool capable of suppressing wear of a cutting blade according to a shape of a bore to be formed in a workpiece. The tool includes a tool body to be attached to a spindle of a rotary machining tool, and a plurality of cartridges each attached to a leading end face of the tool body, having a cutting blade and being position-adjustable in a radial direction. The tool body has a coolant passage for transporting coolant along a rotational axis direction. A discharge hole for the coolant is comprised of a first discharge hole provided between the plurality of cartridges in a leading end face and a second discharge hole provided in an outer circumference of the tool body and directed toward the cutting edge of the cutting blade.

The cutting edge portion includes a rake face having a convex formed on one of opposite surfaces in the thickness direction a flank face having a concave formed on a surface intersecting with the one surface in the thickness direction and a concave cutting edge that is formed between the rake face and the flank face.

摘要: Provided is a tool holding structure capable of effectively preventing a cutting tool from coming off a chuck portion. An outer fitting portion A is formed in an outer face of a shank portion 2 of a cutting tool T and an inner fitting portion B is formed in an inner face of a chuck portion 12 of a tool holder. A fitting member 20 is provided to be fitted to the outer fitting portion A and the inner fitting portion B respectively. The fitting member 20 includes a protruding portion 22 which protrudes from an outer circumference of the shank portion 2 when fitted to the outer fitting portion A. A guide groove 18 is formed for guiding the protruding portion 22 of the fitting member 20 from an open side of an inner space 13 to the inner fitting portion B. The inner fitting portion B includes a rotation preventing face for preventing relative rotation between a holder body 10 and the cutting tool T in association with contact thereof with the protruding portion 22 and a slip-out preventing face for preventing slip-out of the cutting tool T in association with contact thereof with the protruding portion 22.

摘要: Provided is a tap holder configured so that compression-side elastic characteristics and tension-side elastic characteristics are different from each other with utilization of an elastic member for absorbing synchronization error in rotation and feeding of a spindle of a machine tool. The tap holder includes a chuck 20 for holding a tap P, and a holder body 10 for holding the chuck 20 so that the chuck 20 is movable along a rotational axis X and rotatable in synchronism with the chuck 20. The tap holder further includes elastically deforming members 31, 32, 33 provided in a tension direction and a compression direction, respectively and deformable between the chuck 20 and the holder body 10 when a tension force or a compression force is applied to the tap P along the direction of the rotational axis X, and a deformation reducing mechanism 29 for the elastically deforming members 31, 32, 33 such that a deformation amount along the rotational axis X generated in at least one elastically deforming member 31, 32 of the elastically deforming members 31, 32, 33 disposed respectively in the tension direction and the compression direction is smaller than an amount of displacement of the chuck 20 along the rotational axis X.

摘要: In order to prevent a cutting tool from being detached from the holding device towards a bladed part-side when holding a standard cutting tool in the holding apparatus, a focus was placed on a diameter of a shank of the standard cutting tool which is larger than that of a bladed part-side cylindrical portion. A pressing portion pushes a retaining ring along a slope in a tool inserting hole towards its base end side so that an outer periphery of the retaining ring shrinks and an inner diameter of the retaining ring becomes smaller than the diameter of the shank.

摘要: A wrench for tightening a tightening member to another member by revolving the tightening member around its axis, wherein the wrench comprises an inner surface which is attached to the outer surface of the tightening member. On the inner surface, a recess is provided to store a wedge member and is configured by a continuous formation of a slack area and a wedge area. The wedge member is configured to wedge between the outer surface of the tightening member and the wall of the wedge area when the wrench body is rotated in the one direction, in order to place the wedge member in the wedge area, whereby the wrench and the tightening member are unified regarding the relevant direction, enabling the rotation of the tightening member in the relevant direction through the wrench.
