Furthermore, a confocal microscope apparatus, which comprises the Koehler integrator device, and a method of using the confocal microscope apparatus are described.

摘要: A Multichromatic Calibration (MC) method of at least a spectral sensor which is one of a list comprising at least a spectrometer, a multispectral sensor, a hyperspectral sensor, a spectral camera, a color camera. The method comprises a. generating a plurality of different multichromatic spectra, wherein i. a spectrum from the plurality of different multichromatic spectra contains light intensity measurable by the at least one spectral sensor and by a reference spectral device, and ii. a spectrum from the plurality of different multichromatic spectra contains light centered around at least two different wavelengths and is configured to be integrated during an exposure time of a single measurement from any of the at least one spectral sensor or the reference spectral device; b. measuring each multichromatic spectrum of the plurality of different multichromatic spectra with the reference spectral device and the at least one spectral sensor; and from all data of the measured multichromatic spectra, compute a transfer function which relates a response of the at least one spectral sensor to a corresponding response of the reference spectral device, without measuring the spectral response of the at least one spectral sensor.

摘要: The present invention provides a closed-loop system for real-time control of epidural and/or subdural electrical stimulation comprising: means for applying to a subject neuromodulation with adjustable stimulation parameters, said means being operatively connected with a real-time monitoring component comprising sensors continuously acquiring feedback signals from said subject, said signals being neural signals and/or signals providing features of motion of said subject, said system being operatively connected with a signal processing device receiving said feedback signals and operating real-time automatic control algorithms, said signal processing device being operatively connected with said means and providing said means with new stimulation parameters, with minimum delay. The system of the invention improves consistency of walking in a subject with a neuromotor impairment. A Real Time Automatic Control Algorithm is used, comprising a feedforward component employing a single input-single output model (SISO), or a multiple input-single output (MISO) model.

摘要: A novel mechanical system, based on a new cable driven mechanical transmission, able to provide sufficient dexterity, stiffness, speed, precision and payload capacity to actuate multi-DOF micro-manipulators. Besides the possibility of being used in several articulated surgical instruments and robotic systems for surgery or other applications involving remote manipulation, it enables the design of a novel fully mechanical surgical instrument, which offer the advantages of: conventional laparoscopy (low cost, tactile feedback, high payload capacity) combined with the advantages of single port surgery (single incision, starless surgery, navigation through several quadrants of the abdominal cavity) and robotic surgery (greater degrees of freedom, short learning curve, high stiffness, high precision, increased intuition). The unique design of the proposed system provides an intuitive user interface to achieve such enhanced manoeuvrability, allowing each Joint of a teleoperated slave system to be driven by controlling the position of a mechanically connected master unit.
