摘要： A container which is not bulky at the time of shipping and can be stably stood on a suitable place. The container includes a lid member for closing a take-out opening (brittle portion) of the container body 2. On the lower outer side of the container body, there are formed slits for fitting the lid member to the container body after the container body and the lid member are separated apart, and auxiliary leg portions that protrude outward of the container body. The lid member is forming holding leg portions that protrude outward therefrom. Wing portions of the holding leg portions are inserted in the slits to fit the lid member to the container body, and the erected attitude of the container body is supported by the holding leg portions.

摘要： A method of forming a capsule assembly which includes radiation-reactive dental restorative material includes exposing selected portions of an exterior surface of the container to laser generated radiation at an energy level sufficient to create indicia on the exterior surface, with the indicia having a sufficient contrast relative to the exterior surface to enable readily visual human and/or optical machine-readable detection of the indicia. The indicia identify characteristics of the radiation-reactive dental restorative material in the container, the container is formed from a laser-enhanced (LE) polymer which is inert relative to the radiation-reactive dental restorative material within the container. The ability of the container to dispense the radiation-reactive dental restorative material under pressure is not adversely affected by the exposure of the container to laser generated radiation when creating the indicia on the exterior surface of the container. Optionally, the exposure of the laser-enhanced (LE) polymer to laser generated radiation is done at an energy level sufficient to create one or more raised protrusions on the container, useful for engaging a resilient cap adjacent an orifice on the container.

The filler component includes (a) a first plurality of preferably glass particles having an average particle size of from about 1 to about 10 micrometers; (b) a second plurality of preferably glass particles having an average particle size of from about 0.1 to about 1 micrometers; and, (c) a plurality of filler particles having an average particle size of from about 0.01 to about 0.04 micrometers. A method according to the invention includes compacting a dental composite material into a prepared tooth cavity, wherein the material has a packability index above about 300 g/mm2.

摘要： The invention provides a package for a prepasted orthodontic bracket that includes a cover having a hollow projection thereon and a lateral flange extending from and surrounding an open end of the projection, and a base having a flat upper surface. An orthodontic bracket having a layer of light-curable paste thereon is placed with the paste layer in contact with a flat upper surface of the base. The bracket is surrounded by and spaced from the cover. Each of the cover and base are opaque to visible light and actinic radiation. The cover, or both cover and base, comprise a bilayered plastic structure including a first plastic layer containing particles of an opaque filler in an amount effective to render the first layer opaque to visible light, and a second plastic layer containing an effective amount of an actinic blocking agent.

The side wall circumscribes the bottom wall and includes a colorant so that the side wall will substantially attenuate actinic radiation while minimally attenuating visible light having an approximating spectral wavelength greater than 500 nanometers. By that arrangement, the level of the photocurable material may be visualized through the side wall, while still providing sufficient attenuation of actinic radiation to provide for long term storage of the photocurable material without substantial curing thereof.

Additionally, dosing indicia are placed on the body portion of the dental cartridge, permitting the dentist to fill the dental cartridge with a predetermined volume of dental material. A specially configured piston having an appendage thereon is used in combination with the dental cartridge for extruding substantially all of the costly dental material therein.
