Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pump head for a metering device for a metered dispensing of a fluid. The pump head can thereby be fitted on a storage container, for example a bottle, which is designed for storing the fluid to be dispensed. Pump head and storage vessel together thereby form the metering device according to the invention. The pump head is distinguished by including a passage for air, by means of which air from outside can be transferred into the storage vessel during the pumping process for pressure compensation. The present invention relates in addition to purposes of use for the pump head and the metering device.
Abstract:
Pre-compression valve systems for trigger sprayers include one-piece valve systems having both check and pre-compression valves or multiple component valve systems. The pre-compression valve is positioned in a vertical cylinder, and may have a flat, concave, or convex surface.
Abstract:
A pump dispenser is arranged for dispensing solidous material under a manually-developed pressure, with the dispenser being capable of pumping and mechanically agitating the solidous material in a storage container. The resultant dispensed solidous fluid is provided with more consistent suspended solid concentrations with greater solid particle distribution homogeneity.
Abstract:
A dispensing pump includes a housing extending along a longitudinal axis and configured to be inserted in a bottle. The housing defines a dosing chamber and includes a venting hole. A retaining ring is fastened to the housing and inserted therein. A hollow stem is associated to a piston and inserted in a hole of the retaining ring leaving a passage. The hollow stem and piston are movable between a lowered position and a raised position corresponding to different volumes of the dosing chamber. A venting path includes at least the passage between the hollow stem and the retaining ring and the venting hole. Through the venting path a volume of air enters the bottle through the venting hole during the pump actuation to replace liquid pumped out from the bottle by the pump. A venting valve is interposed between the hollow stem and retaining ring, along the venting path.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a press-type liquid pump. The liquid pump comprises a fixed unit fixed relative to a container and a movable unit capable of performing a reciprocating motion relative to the fixed unit, and a liquid product is pumped to the exterior of the container. The reciprocating motion is achieved by a pressing force applied by a user to the movable unit to move the movable unit relative to the fixed unit in combination with an elastic restoring means for restoring the movable unit relative to the fixed unit after the pressing force is removed. The elastic restoring means is a plastic elastic compressing means located below a toothed sleeve and installed between the fixed unit and the movable unit, which comprises at least one elastic strip generally formed in an arc shape.

Abstract:
A fluid dispenser pump (10) including a pump body (11) and a piston (20) that slides in leaktight manner in the pump body (11) between a rest position and an actuated position. The piston (20) is secured to an actuator rod (30) that extends axially out from the pump body (11). A ferrule (40) is mounted on the top edge (12) of the pump body (11), the ferrule (40) defining the rest position of the piston (20). The ferrule (40) co-operates in leaktight manner with the actuator rod (30) while the actuator rod (30) moves between the rest position and an intermediate position, and the ferrule (40) co-operates in non-leaktight manner with the actuator rod (30) while the actuator rod (30) moving between the intermediate position and the actuated position, so as to make it possible to vent the pump (10).
Abstract:
A manually operable pump for dispensing creamy substances from a container on which the pump is mounted, and for preventing emergence or leakage of creamy substances along the outer surface of the pump stem when the pump is at rest and the container on which it is mounted is inclined to the upright position, with the pump at least partly immersed in the creamy substances. The pump comprises two separate seal regions provided between the pump main body and the piston and respectively the stem of the same pump.
Abstract:
A manually operable dispensing pump for application to liquid containers, in which the pump has a hollow stem which projects from a hole provided in a flange forming part of the pump, the stem having a profiled annular part which seals against a profiled seat on the flange when the pump is in its rest state, there projecting all about said flange seat a skirt within which the annular part of the stem slides and seals.
Abstract:
A fluid dispenser pump comprising a pump body (1) in which a piston (2) connected to an actuating rod (10) is slidably mounted in leaktight manner, said actuating rod (10) being mounted to slide inside an element (4), such as a ferrule, which is secured to the pump body (1), said fluid dispenser pump being characterized in that said actuating rod (10) includes a flexible outer tubular portion (11) that is in leaktight contact with said element (4), and a rigid inner tubular portion (12) that is concentric with said flexible outer tubular portion (11), the zone of contact between the inside of the ferrule (4) and the actuating rod (10) being leaktight regardless of the position of said actuating rod (10).
