Abstract: The garden fountain and planter includes a lower container, a middle container and an upper container. A water pump positioned in the lower container pumps water up into the middle container. The upper container rests in the middle container. Using a combination of the water level in the middle container and the spacing of the bottom of the upper container with respect to the water level in the middle container, the user can accurately control the water flow to the upper container.

Abstract: A water level detection system in a pool, spa, fountain or water feature forming a body of water within, the water level detection system is provided with a tap line coupled to a plumbing line on a suction or supply side of a filtration system and admitting water from the pool, spa, fountain or water feature such that the change in level of the water in the tap line corresponds to a change in level of the water in the pool, spa, fountain or water feature. A sensing module is mounted to the tap line and has at least one sensor for detecting the height of a column of water or the pressure of a column of air in the water tap line. A controller is coupled to the sensing module and adapted to collect the data from the sensors that detect changes in the level of the water level of the body of water, communicate the detection of such a change, and report such a change to initiate addition or removal of water from the body of water to adjust the water level in the body of water to a set point.

Abstract: A flameless candle device with a fountain includes a container, a light-emitting member, and a pump motor. The container has an outer wall to surround an accommodation space. The accommodation space is divided into a first half portion and a second half portion by a partition. The first half portion is in communication with the second half portion through an opening. The partition has a flange thereon. The accommodation space is adapted to accommodate a fluid, such as water. The light-emitting member is located in the accommodation space. The pump motor is in communication with the first half portion and the second half portion. When the pump motor is activated, the water flows from the first half portion to the second half portion, alternatively, from the second half portion to the first half portion. The present invention provides an illumination effect as well as visual and auditory enjoyments.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for producing a water maze from walls of falling water that can be reconfigured to change the maze. In one embodiment, the apparatus is comprised of a plurality of spray bars that are each capable of producing a separate wall of falling water droplets and a plurality of water valves that are each associated with only one spray bar. The water valves can be used to define at least two different paths between the entrance and exit of the maze. The apparatus is also capable of being used to create interesting visual effects by projecting light/images on to multiple screens created by walls of falling water droplets.

Abstract: A system for providing a combined water and fire display is provided. More specifically, a decorative display comprises a dynamic water and fire display device where fuel/air, water, and fire are integrated. The decorative display provides for unique aesthetic qualities and an appearance wherein flames are positioned at or near the surface of a volume of water. In various embodiments, the decorative display further comprises various safety features including the ability to detect and self-regulate conditions such as the existence and/or absence of a pilot flame, an adequate amount of water, and the temperature of various portions of the system. The decorative display further contemplates the ability to operate without one or more disclosed features, such as when only a water display or only a fire display is desired.

Abstract: Systems and processes for facilitating control of a decorative water fountain system through a network are described. A central computer may be connected to a network and may communicate with a variety of controllers to drive fountain hardware, lights, and music for an automated performance. Audience members may interact with the fountain system by communicating with the central computer through a network. Users may engage an application on a smartphone to request particular water jets, fountain movements, lights, colors, sounds, or the like. The central computer may receive the requests and communicate corresponding commands to fountain hardware controllers to cause the requested actions to be performed by fountain hardware (e.g., nozzles, lights, motors, pumps, switches, etc.). The central computer may also communicate with online social networks to post information related to user interaction, fountain performances, images, status, or the like.
