    摘要: An apparatus is provided for determining a tire operating condition including a tire-based pressure and temperature sensor and transmitter and a vehicle ignition system. A vehicle-based receiver/controller receives sensor signals and state of the ignition system. The controller provides an error signal when the sensed tire pressure is less than a set threshold value Pset and resets the error signal when the sensed tire pressure is greater than a reset threshold value Prst. The receiver/controller determines the set threshold value Pset and the reset threshold value Prst as a function of a calculated warm tire pressure value Pwarm, determines a mole value N of the tire pressure, and adjusts the determined set threshold value Pset and the reset threshold value Prst in response to the vehicle ignition state and a change in the determined mole value N. A display is provided for displaying the error signal.

    摘要: A method of programming a tire pressure monitor sensor utilizes a programming tool that transmits LF data frames to the TPMS sensor that includes a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) code with each data frame. The starting point for the subsequent data frame will then start with the CRC code received from the previous frame and will end with a new CRC code. Accordingly, the CRC code received from the previous frame will be used to ensure that the next data frame matches that CRC code as the starting point for that frame. This will ensure that the data frames cannot get out of sequence and will allow the ability to quickly identify where the data frames have gone out of sync and allow the programming tool to quickly react.

    摘要: A vehicle having a controller, a main and a buffer memory, and a pressure sensor for each wheel. At certain time intervals after triggering, tire sensor modules transmit a sensor data record by radio, containing an individual identification code, a tire pressure and trigger information. For quick and easy assignment of wheel positions to tire sensor modules after a wheel change, after switching on the ignition or the electrical system, a detection function and subsequently and conditionally a check function are carried out. During the detection function, triggering of all modules in an order characterizing the wheel positions is expected. The controller receives the records of the triggered modules and stores them in the order received. The check function checks the records stored in the buffer memory for plausibility and, in the event of a positive result, the records are stored in the main memory instead of older records.
