    Abstract: A structure of valve stem and frame lining includes a frame lining, a valve body, and a stem. At least two ribs are formed on one face of the frame lining, and the other opposite face of the frame lining is engaged with a base portion of the valve body by molding. The stem is disposed in an air channel of the valve body to control availability of air through the air channel. More particularly, when being disposed on a wheel frame, the frame lining has a width which enables the frame lining to overlap an outer cover engaged with the wheel frame to provide good sealing performance. Besides, the ribs help the frame lining be positioned on the wheel frame.

    Abstract: A tire for a self-inflating tire system includes an annular air tube-receiving groove formed within a tire carcass wall at a prescribed radial location. The groove has an access opening, a primary internal groove chamber dimensioned and profiled for close receipt of an annular air-pump tube. A secondary expansion chamber of the groove communicates with the internal groove chamber for operationally receiving a flattened air-pump tube extended portion during tire operation. A passageway is located at a prescribed outlet location along the annular air tube-receiving groove, the passageway extending from the groove to an axially inward terminal end within the tire carcass wall separated from a tire inner liner by a removable wall partition of reduced sectional thickness.

    Abstract: An inner-tube assembly that includes an inner-tube and a valve assembly. The valve assembly is configured to facilitate the inflation of the inner-tube, and the valve assembly includes a valve core and a valve housing. The valve housing has a lower portion coupled to the inner-tube and an opposite upper portion. At least part of an exterior surface of the lower portion is threaded and at least part of an exterior surface of the upper portion is unthreaded. In another aspect, the inner-tube assembly includes the inner-tube and a valve assembly. An attachment member couples the valve assembly to the inner-tube. The attachment member has a length and a width defining an aspect ratio of width/length, and the aspect ratio is less than about 0.50.

    Abstract: An inner air-tube of a tire for bicycle, particular for racing cycle substantially composed of a thermoplastic urethane resin of a specific type. The urethane resin is comprised of a bifunctional polyol, a diisocyanate and a diol serving as a chain-propagating agent, the ratio by mole of the diisocyanate to a mixture of the bifunctional polyol and the diol being in the range of 1.05-1.10:1. The urethane resin of this type is readily after-crosslinked to improve its physical properties to a great extent.
