    摘要: The present invention discloses a dual mode fuel tank leakage detector (100), comprising of an electromechanical valve (1) with a canister port, an engine control unit, pump assembly, a sensor (3) and works in pressure condition by comparing a measured pressure with reference pressure; in case there is leakage then the pressure is not upto the reference pressure within time interval. In case of no leakage, the pressure will be equal/above than the reference pressure, the leakage detector (100) works in vacuum condition by comparing a measured leakage with a reference leakage, in case there is a leakage the measured vacuum is not able to reach to the reference vacuum within a time interval and when there is no leakage, the measured vacuum will be equal or above from the reference vacuum and fuel tank leakage detector (100) enables to monitor leakage detection either in vacuum or pressure conditions.

The ECM may determine a change in pressure of the fuel between a first time and a second time, determine a predicted change in pressure of the fuel between the first time and the second time, and determine that the change in pressure and the predicted change in pressure is greater than a threshold. Based on the change in pressure and the predicted change in pressure being greater than the threshold, a notification may be displayed associated with an integrity of the fuel tank.

    摘要: A portable fuel tank assembly includes a portable fuel tank for holding fuel and a support to be connected to a supporting surface for holding the fuel tank stationary with respect to the supporting surface. The fuel tank has a first quick connector for fluid communication with the fuel in the fuel tank. The support has a second quick connector for mating and providing fluid communication with the first quick connector. The fuel tank and support are configured such that securing the fuel tank in the support simultaneously mates the second quick connector to the first quick connector to provide for fluid communication between the second quick connector and the fuel in the fuel tank. A support for holding a portable fuel tank is also provided.

    摘要: A vapor particle separator includes a housing having an inlet port in fluid communication with the outlet of the fuel tank, an outlet port in fluid communication with the inlet port of the vapor canister and a drain port in fluid communication with the filler neck. The inlet port has deflector ribs and a centralized nose cone creating a straight flow path resulting in less restriction in the fuel vapor flow. As the mixture flows along the inlet passage, it is forced through the deflection ribs and nose cone at which time the droplets and vapors are separated. The separated droplets and vapors flow from the inlet passage into the inlet pipe. The outlet passage and the drain portion allow the lite weight vapors to rise up into the outlet passage and out the outlet portion while gravity pulls the heavier weight droplets down into the return portion.
