摘要: A coil spring of a push-up device for pushing out a fuel lid in an open direction includes a large pitch portion and small pitch portion, which have different pitches. Therefore, when the fuel lid is being closed, the coil spring, which pushes a rod into a case, has an increase rate of an urging force at an initial stroke less than an increase rate of the urging force at a later stroke following the initial stroke.

摘要: A door latching system for the door covering the charge port of an electric vehicle, or for the door covering the fuel filler port of a conventional vehicle, is provided. The door latching system is comprised of a ferromagnetic member attached to an interior surface of the door, and a latching assembly integrated into the port housing, where the latching assembly includes an assembly case, an electromagnet, and a permanent magnet that maintains the door in a closed position when the electromagnet is not energized and releases the door when the electromagnet is energized. The latching assembly may include a magnetic flux sensor that monitors when the port door is open or closed. The magnetic flux sensor may be coupled to a system controller that performs a preset response when the magnetic flux sensor determines that the door is open.

摘要: A lid lock apparatus for a vehicle includes a retainer, a cap, and a lock pin. The retainer includes a fitting portion to which an end portion of the cap is configured to fit from an outside of the lid box towards an inside of the lid box and a first engaging portion formed to be positioned outward of the lid box relative to the fitting portion. The cap includes an operational lever portion configured to be elastically deformed to tilt by an operation at an outside of the lid box and including a second engaging portion configured to engage with and disengage from the first engaging portion.

摘要: The invention relates to a plastic fuel inlet compartment which can be inserted into an opening in the bodywork of a motor vehicle. The invention is characterized by a two-hole embodiment for bivalent tanking whereby the second through hole can also be selectively covered. A controllable closing device can also be easily inserted in a recess in an outer wall of the housing, thereby enabling the fuel inlet compartment valve to be controlled by a motor and to be manually actuated. The fuel inlet compartment can be inserted into an opening of the bodywork in a self-locking manner.
