摘要： A paper conveying mechanism includes an elastic urging member provided on each side surface of an upper guide. The urging member includes a projecting portion that projects toward a side guide forming each end of a paper conveying path. An outer width of the upper guide inclusive of the projecting portion is greater than an inner width of the side guides. When a printer cover is closed, the upper guide is urged by the urging member substantially to the center of the inner width of the side guides, thereby producing gaps of substantially equal size on both sides of the upper guide in the paper width direction.

The guide member is supported such that the guide member can project outward from an outer periphery of one of the rotating bodies located upstream in a sheet conveying direction. When a front end of a conveyed sheet abuts against the guide member and pushes the guide member, the guide member retracts from a projecting position into the space on the side of the pair of rotating bodies, and in this state, the front end of the sheet is guided to a nip portion of the pair of rotating bodies.

摘要： A TAB tape (100) packaging structure in which (i) the TAB tape (100) including a plurality of semiconductor chips (103) which are fixed, on a film (101) on which wiring patterns are repeatedly provided and (ii) an embossed tape (200) which is electroconductive and has embossed parts (202) which are sequentially provided on a first surface of and in a longitudinal direction of a film (201) are wound on a reel which is electroconductive is arranged such that the TAB tape (100) and the embossed tape (200) are wound on the reel, while (i) a first surface of the film (101) on which surface the plurality of semiconductor chips (103) are fixed and (ii) the first surface of the film (201) on which surface the embossed parts (202) protrude are overlapping and facing each other, and the embossed tape (200) has a total thickness of not less than (t+0.4) mm and not more than 1.1 mm in a case where each of the plurality of semiconductor chips (103) has a thickness of t (0.2≦t≦0.625) mm and the film (201) has a substantial thickness of 0.125 mm. This realizes packaging of a TAB tape in a desired winding length while sufficiently securing protection of the TAB tape during shipping and transportation.

摘要： A method for processing high bulk tissue webs is disclosed for forming a wet web, drying the web, winding the dried web to form a plurality of parent rolls, unwinding the parent rolls by transmitting torque through the roll center and/or ends, moving the partially unwound roll to effect splicing with a subsequent parent roll, and rewinding the thus united web. In particular embodiments, the torque transmitting means comprise side clamping mechanisms that engage only the end surfaces of the parent rolls. In other embodiments, an automated off-line method for splicing tissue webs from different parent rolls utilizes a finishing unit that substantially continuously impacts each web during unwinding to splice the webs together. In one aspect, a method of making and processing high bulk tissue webs is disclosed for the production of a soft, high bulk uncreped throughdried tissue web by depositing an aqueous suspension of paper-making fibers onto an endless forming fabric to form a web and drying the web by throughdrying to final dryness without any significant differential compression to form a dried web having a bulk value of about 15 to 25 cubic centimeters per gram or greater, an MD Stiffness Factor of 50 to 100 kilograms, a machine direction stretch of 15 to 25 percent, and a substantially uniform density.

摘要： A device 100 for the feeding of sheets 14 from a ream 18, with a main rotating, feeding roller 27; a tray 13 containing the ream 18; and an auxiliary roller 130 arranged adjacent to the feeding roller 27, wherein the tray 13 is suitable for moving cyclically to bring the ream 18 into contact with the feeding roller 27, so that the latter picks one at a time the sheets 14 from the ream 18 and feeds them along a path 131; and wherein the auxiliary roller 130 is adapted for rotating in contact with the sheets 14 picked by the feeding roller 27, but without pulling them and in the direction opposite their feeding direction, the object being that of opposing the picking of double sheets from the ream 18. The device 100 is provided with an improvement consisting of a cap 141 capable of moving in sync with the cyclical motion of the tray 13 with respect to the main feeding roller 27, so as to prevent, by coming between the auxiliary roller 130 and the sheets 14, any contact between them, at least during the motion of the tray 13. In this way, the front edges 140 of the sheets 14 can access the path 131 without running the risk of being crumpled and/or damaged by the auxiliary roller 130 with its rotation and, accordingly, of compromising the proper feeding of the sheets 14 from the ream 18.
