The continuous channel (310) reduces or even eliminates small bridge problem typically associated with the conventional carrier tapes (100). The proposed carrier tape (300) can include dividers (330) and cutouts (340) to accommodate the devices (205) with minimum pitch without sacrificing corner relief. A cover tape (450) can be included to seal the devices (205) below the top surface of the devices (205). Further, the floor (316) of the continuous channel (310) can be lined with an adhesive (560).

By affixing the information cards in a repetitive pattern along the tape (20) the assembled tape can be folded and individual blisters are no longer lost. An edge (6) for severing the tape allows the removal of a single information card-blister assembly from the assembled tape. Separating the information cards on the tape allows room for folding the tape. Ensuring that the holes cut in the tape do not overlap allows the distance between the information cards along the tape to be reduced and result in an efficient stacking of the blisters when the tape is folded.

    摘要: The invention relates to a packing method, according to which a packaging is produced, wherein a plurality of stacks (20) or layers of individual packed strip-type objects (12) are packed as a group (10) in a second packaging material (52). One of the front surfaces (16) of the individual strips (12) is stuck to the bottom (54) of the formed packaging (50). The strip packaging material and the adhesive are produced such that respectively one strip (12) can be removed from the external packaging (50). The remaining strips (12) remain arranged in the original position thereof in the packaging (50) without sliding and falling into each other, when individual strips (12) have already been removed from the packaging (50). A package band or a half-wrapper for holding and fixing the strips (12) inside the packaging (50) is rendered superfluous. The strips (12) are preferably respectively packed in a piece of packaging material that has a perforation (32) for separation into a first part and a second part. The first part (34) is stuck to the external packaging (50) and remains fixed in the external packaging (50) when a strip (12) is removed from the full packaging. The second part (36) remains on the strip (12) and is removed from the external packaging (50) therewith, partially opening the strip (12). As a result, the invention enables the production of an advantageous, user-friendly packaging with an attractive design.

    摘要: An apparatus for processing electronic circuit devices includes an infeed station, a first inspection station, an inverter station, a second inspection station, a sorting station, and an outfeed station. A linear transport mechanism having side edges transports a first work piece containing a plurality of electronic circuit devices through the stations along a linear path. The inverter station holds an empty second work piece above the transport mechanism in an inverted orientation. The inverter station also includes an elevator for lifting the first work piece vertically into an abutting relationship with the second work piece, and an inverting mechanism for inverting the first and second work pieces while maintaining them in the abutting relationship to position the electronic devices in the second work piece in the inverted orientation. The inverter station executes the work piece inverting action while maintaining the work pieces above the linear transport mechanism and between the side edges of the linear transport mechanism. Thus, the electronic circuit devices are inspected at the first inspection station in a first orientation in the first work piece, and are inspected at the second inspection station in an inverted orientation in the second work piece.
