    摘要: A movable arm 10 engages a flexible line 50 at a well site for positioning the flexible line between run-in position for passing the flexible line with a tubular through a well hole in the rig floor and a clamping position wherein the flexible line is adjacent the tubular above the rig floor for clamping the line to the tubular. The arm 10 extends upward from the rig floor 70, and includes a line guide, such as roller 12, for engaging the flexible line when in the run-in position. A powered drive 14 moves the arm between the run-in position and the clamping position. A spacer 82 may be used for positioning two or more flexible lines at a desired spacing relative to one another prior to positioning the lines within a clamp secured to the tubular. A slip bowl assembly 60 may be laterally movable so that slips do not engage the flexible line as it is run in the well.

    摘要: A post hole digger comprising a borer, an hydraulic driving motor for reversibly driving the borer and a frame on which the borer is mounted is described. This post hole digger has the advantage of being able to be disengaged from a hole being bored if the borer should become stuck. In addition, torque reaction from the borer striking obstructions is absorbed by the hydraulic relief valve. The borer and hydraulic motor are at opposite ends of the frame which has a fulcrum in between to allow the weight of one to counterbalance the weight of the other for ease of operation.

On the grip ends of the framework is provided a handgrip arrangement located during operation of the device at roughly the gripping level of a service person and a seating device for mounting of the engine-transmission unit of the ground auger, arranged in a longitudinal direction to the framework at a horizontal distance from the travelling gear. The handgrip arrangement is positioned such that the boring spindle essentially runs vertically so that the seating device permits a swinging of the ground auger in relation to the longitudinal direction of the framework during its penetration into the ground.

    摘要: A hydraulic drilling outfit has a hydraulically driven hammer drill which is fastened pivotally to a hydraulic thrust unit. A control for the hydraulics utilizes the flushing water for the drill bit as the power-source for all of the motions executed by the drilling outfit. One hydraulic supply line to the control of the thrust unit and one line from the control to the hammer drill are sufficient for operating the system in an open circuit. A rotary slide valve simultaneously controls the thrust and withdrawal motions as well as the operational states of drilling and not drilling. The desired value adjustment for the speed of thrust is arranged on the rotary slide valve.

    摘要: A spring-loaded suspension system for a power-driven auger or screw anchor suspended from the boom of a digger derrick includes a cushing device to cushion shock loads and vibration. The system is articulately connected to the boom by a linkage which provides a universal pivotal connection between the power drive and the boom. In one embodiment of the invention the linkage is a spring-loaded telescopic link. In an alternative embodiment of the invention a torque-transmitting coupling between the output shaft of the power drive and the auger or screw anchor is itself a spring-loaded telescopic link.
