摘要： This invention relates to a cross-flow wave making pump comprising an impeller shell forming a water intake and a water outlet, an impeller assembly pivotally connected to two ends of the impeller shell, and a motor used for driving the impeller assembly; wherein, the impeller assembly comprises an impeller used for driving a liquid flow, a first turntable and a second turntable respectively fixed at two ends of the impeller, wherein the first turntable is provided with a shaft rotatably mounted in the impeller shell, the second turntable is provided with a cavity used for receiving a rotor shaft of the motor. The embodiments of the present invention can provide a sufficient liquid-circulation in a container, and significantly reduce the dead zone where the liquid flows extremely slowly. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要： A submersible pump assembly includes a centrifugal pump driven by a motor. The pump has a number of stages, each of the stages having a diffuser and an impeller. An upthrust washer is located between a diffuser upthrust surface and an impeller upthrust surface. Balance holes extend from an inlet on an upper side of the impeller to an outlet within one of the impeller passages. The upthrust washer overlies the inlets while the impeller is in the upthrust position. Slots are located at an interface between the upthrust washer and the impeller upthrust surface. Each of the slots registers with the inlet of one of the balance holes to allow fluid flow into the inlets of the balance holes while the impeller is in the upthrust position.

摘要： A pump for processing molten metal having an enlarged tubular body which houses a centrifugal lifting pump at its bottom end. The bottom end has a curved shape that aids in the formation and sustainability of: a) a forced vortex; b) a highly forced vortex; and c) a super forced vortex, depending on the application when it which receives the ejected molten metal from the lifting pump's impeller. The lifting pump is controlled to cause the vortex to climb up the inner wall of the body up to and out of an outlet formed in the upper end of the body. A recirculation centrifugal pump is mounted coaxially to and rotates with the lifting impeller.

The pump assembly includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a fluid casing, and an impellor positioned within the fluid casing, the impellor being driven by a power source and being operable to generate fluid flow within the fluid casing from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. The pump assembly also includes a volute area formed on a periphery of the fluid casing, the volute area being operable to receive fluid pressurized by flow induced by the impellor. A pitot tube is positioned within the volute area, the pitot tube being operable to receive pressurized fluid from the volute area and pass the fluid through an outlet having an expanding geometry that increases the flow rate of the fluid as it passes through the outlet.

摘要： A centrifugal pump including a pump chamber, a wear plate, and a rotatable impeller is disclosed. The wear plate has a suction inlet. The pump chamber includes a high pressure region around the impeller within the pump chamber. The impeller's front face has portion located adjacent the wear plate to form a recirculation zone in fluid communication with the high pressure region. Another portion of the impeller's front face forms a small running clearance between it and a portion of the wear plate. That running clearance is interposed between the recirculation zone and the suction inlet. The wear plate includes plural deflector vanes projecting into the recirculation zone. A portion of the front face of the impeller includes plural pump-out vanes in the recirculation zone. The deflector vanes cooperate with the pump-out vanes to expel abrasive particles and prevent them from collecting and eroding the running clearance.

The electrical submersible pump also includes a labyrinth seal formed between the impeller and the diffuser, wherein the labyrinth seal selectively seals the impeller passage from a cavity formed between the impeller and the diffuser to maintain the impeller in a floating condition relative to the diffuser.
