A liquid ring rotor is provided and methods of operating the same. A liquid ring rotor for a liquid ring system is provided and comprises a shaft, and one or more fluid diverting members. The shaft includes a hollow interior portion, the hollow interior portion having a first opening and a second opening, the second opening disposed in a surface that extends along a length of the shaft and spaced apart from the first opening in the length of the shaft, wherein the shaft is configured to enable a working fluid to pass along the shaft through the hollow interior portion between the openings.

摘要: An impeller of a pump device includes a vane wheel fixed to a flange portion of a rotor member. The vane wheel includes a plurality of vane portions protruding from a disc portion opposed to the flange portion in an axial direction. At a tip end of each vane portion, a rib that is inserted into a fixing groove provided in the flange portion is provided. A gap in the axial direction is provided between a tip end of an inner peripheral portion including an end portion on an inner side in a radial direction of the rib and a bottom surface of the fixing groove, and a welded portion welded to the fixing groove is provided at a tip end on another side in the axial direction of an outer peripheral portion including an end portion on an outer side in the radial direction of the rib.

The first opening is disposed closer to the axis than the second opening, and the first opening is located within a circle formed by a radially innermost part of the working vane, while the impeller is rotated about the axis, and the second opening or the balancing conduit at the rear side of the impeller is located at a smallest diameter of the shroud.
