摘要: A unique low cost and efficient submersible, hermetically sealed, variable speed system intended to drive submersible boosting units. The system includes a unique combination of a liquid filled electrical motor connected to a hydraulic coupling and a magnetic coupling driver section, in a hermetically sealed container, with a magnetic coupling follower driving a booster unit. The system further includes integrated cooling, lubrication and control functionality. The drive unit has an actuating system connected to internal guide vanes which controls the liquid flow between the pump impeller and turbine wheel of the hydrodynamic coupling and hence the torque and speed. The combined system is a sealed seal-less and topside-less submersible drive unit that can operate in harsh subsea environments. The drive unit opens up for use of thin walled pressure casings and low pressure electrical penetrators.

摘要: An active magnetic bearing system includes a radial actuator and an axial actuator. The radial actuator includes a radial stator coupled to a stationary component, and a radial rotor coupled to a rotatable impeller. The radial rotor extends circumferentially with respect to the radial stator and is configured to rotate about the radial stator. The axial actuator has first and second rotor rings and first and second stators. The first rotor ring is attached to a first axial end of the impeller, and the second rotor ring is attached to a second axial end of the impeller. The first and second stators are coupled to the shaft adjacent the first and second rotor rings, respectively. The radial actuator is positioned axially between the first and second rotor rings.

摘要: A gas compression system and a method of flow conditioning by a gas compression system are provided. A gas compression system includes a compact flow conditioner in a form of a flow conditioner tank and a combined multi-phase pump and compressor unit comprising an impeller configured to compress a mixture of gas and liquid, wherein the gas compression system is configured such that the gas and the liquid are separated in the flow conditioner tank, the separated gas and liquid are sucked up through the separate gas and liquid pipes and re-mixed again upstream of the impeller, and the liquid is distributed in a gas flow by Venturi effect, and wherein the Venturi effect is obtained by a constriction in the outlet pipe to the impeller, just upstream of the impeller.

摘要: A cooling system for a motor-compressor and a method for cooling the motor-compressor are provided. The cooling system may include a discharge assembly having a hub portion disposed radially outward of a rotary shaft of the motor-compressor. A plurality of arms may be fluidly coupled with and may extend generally tangential from the hub portion of the discharge assembly. The hub portion may define an annular volume fluidly coupled with the plurality of arms. The cooling system may also include a blower impeller disposed in the annular volume and coupled with the rotary shaft. The blower impeller may be configured to rotate with the rotary shaft and draw a cooling fluid into the discharge assembly.
