    摘要: The solar heated building comprises a flexible tube of transparent plastic sheeting adapted to be positioned on, or secured to, a building or anchor unit so as to form the top cover therefor, a pair of shafts engaging spaced internal portions of the tube and extending longitudinally thereof, the tube having closed ends and being positioned to move peripherally, rollers engaging the plastic sheeting and forcing it against the shafts, whereby, on drive of the rollers, the flexible transparent tube can be moved around its periphery, the transparent tube having at least one longitudinally extending section therein with a reflective metal flexible layer thereon, whereby, when the reflective metal layer portion of the tube is so positioned on the roof or cover unit as to receive the sun's rays thereon, they are reflected whereas the flexible plastic tube can be moved around its periphery to have only transparent plastic sheeting receive the sun's rays for transmission of the light's rays therethrough to transmit heat to the building.

    摘要: A combination solar heat collector and awning is disclosed as an attachment for a travel trailer or mobile home wherein the heat collector panel is extendable to an awning position overlying the wall of the vehicle which should be facing toward the sun. The heat collector panel has water pipes extending therethrough which provide heated water to a tank mounted on the roof of the vehicle and connected to the domestic hot water system of the trailer or to heat radiators as desired.The heat collector panel is extendable and retractable with a cable system which is selectively motor operated or hand operated. The total unit when in stored position or in position of use has a relatively low silhouette and permits passage of the vehicle through normal roadways.

    摘要: A solar and wind energy generating system for mounting to a building comprises a wind generator system including at least an auger shaped air engaging member. A plurality of wind generators having air engaging vanes may also be provided. The wind generating system intercepts the flow of air currents to produce mechanical energy which is transformed into electrical energy by an electric generator. The air engaging surface of the wind generator vanes or the auger include a plurality of surface deviations. The surface deviations are arranged in at least one predetermined pattern such as a plurality of radially extending deviation sets. The solar generator includes a plurality of solar energy collectors. The wind generators may further include air engaging vanes with at least one transparent surface, and a plurality of solar energy collectors within a cavity formed in the vane, thus forming a combined solar and wind energy generator. The wind and solar generators are stored within the building when not in use, and movable to a position exterior of the building when in use. The wind and solar energy generating system may be vertically or horizontally mounted, on or off a pedestal, and may be surrounded by a net like structure to prevent harm to birds.
