摘要: Systems and methods are provided for providing predictive energy consumption feedback for powering a transport climate control system. This can include determining whether an energy level of an energy storage source is greater than an expected energy consumption of a transport climate control system during a route, based on route parameters. The route parameters may be obtained via a human-machine interface. When the energy storage source is less than the expected energy consumption, a user is alerted. The systems and methods may further compare the energy level to an expected energy level during transit to determine if the energy level is greater or less than expected and alert the user when the energy level is less than expected.

摘要: A method comprises detecting particulates generated from a cooking device of a vehicle. In response to detecting the particulates from the cooking device, a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system of the vehicle is activated. This causes the HVAC system to dispel the particulates from the vehicle. Aspects also include lowering a window and repositioning air vents of the HVAC system to further facilitate dispelling particulates and helping to prevent particulates from entering the vehicle during use of the cooking device.

摘要: Methods and systems described perform air cleaning and/or sanitization in a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and/or refrigeration (HVACR) system by detecting a concentration of airborne contaminants in a space serviced by the HVACR system. The detected concentration of airborne contaminants is determined whether it exceeds a threshold relative to a capacity of a first air cleaner. When the detected concentration of airborne contaminants exceeds the threshold, a second air cleaner is selected and enabled to be activated in the space. When the detected concentration of airborne contaminants does not exceed the threshold, the first air cleaner is selected and enabled to be activated in the space. The first air cleaner has a cleaning material different from the second air cleaner, and the first air cleaner, relative to the second air cleaner, treats the space at a lower concentration of airborne contaminants. The second air cleaner includes specifically designed cleaner modules.

The inverter is configured to provide power to the motor in a first operating mode or a second operating mode. The motor is operably coupled to a compressor. The controller is configured to obtain a power limit signal; receive a control command corresponding to providing power to the air conditioning device; and determine, based on a power limit, whether to receive power at the air conditioning device in the first operating mode or the second operating mode.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to the field of hybrid air conditioning for automobiles and controlling system thereof, and envisages a hybrid air conditioning system (10) for cooling a passenger cabin of an automobile having an engine (30). The system (10) comprises a metal hydride based air conditioning subsystem, a vapor compression based air conditioning subsystem, a first sensor, a second sensor and a control unit. The first sensor is mounted in the passenger cabin to sense temperature inside the passenger cabin to generate a first sensed signal. The second sensor is configured to sense temperature of exhaust gases to generate a second sensed signal. The control unit cooperates with the first sensor and the second sensor, to selectively actuate either the metal hydride based air conditioning subsystem or the vapor compression based air conditioning subsystem based on the first and second sensed signals.

摘要: A laundry transport apparatus and method includes a container defining an interior area configured to accommodate a plurality of laundry carts, the container having a door movable between closed and open configurations to selectively allow access to said interior area. The apparatus includes a ventilation network to pass air to and from the interior area, the ventilation network including a pathogen identification and containment apparatus to detect, isolate and treat potentially harmful material within the soiled laundry. The laundry transport apparatus includes a self-cleaning assembly operable to spray cleaning solution upon the laundry carts if a pathogen detected. The laundry transport apparatus includes a solar module to power electrical systems and a conveyor assembly for convenient movement of a plurality of laundry carts. The laundry transport apparatus includes personal protective equipment that has been decontaminated using dry heat.

The duct also includes a plurality of curved flaps operably connected respectively to at least some of the plurality of cold air outlets at the downstream edge of the cold air outlets in which the curved flaps are configured to direct cold air from the refrigerator unit in a downward direction.
