摘要: The articulated arm of a laser equipment comprises at least an articulation with a corresponding mirror in a fixed and non-adjustable position with respect to said articulation. At least one of the sections of the articulated arm converging into said articulation is engaged with the articulation in an angularly adjustable manner. In this way, with an angular adjustment of said arm section a perfect alignment of the laser beam in the tubular arm can be achieved.

摘要: A microscope tube having several sections articulated with respect to each other. A first stationary section (1) is hinged to a second section (2) which can swing upwardly and downwardly, and this is hinged to a third section (3) which hangs downwardly from the second section, the free lower end of the third section being swingable horizontally toward and away from the observer or user of the microscope. The third section has a fourth section (4) hinged to it to tilt on a horizontal axis, and this fourth section carries the eyepiece of the microscope. With this arrangement, the eyepiece may be adjusted to various positions vertically and horizontally to suit the comfort of the observer, and may be tilted to various viewing angles quite independently of its vertical or horizontal position. Mirrors within the tube at the hinge joints direct the optical beam properly from one section into the next section, and these mirrors turn through half the angle of swing when one section swings relative to the next. An additional optical system within the tube forms an intermediate image, and the observer sees the object in proper erect position in proper side-to-side relationship, rather than reversed. Provision is made for attachment of a camera or other desired auxiliary apparatus.

摘要: An optical system for use with a tiltable lens barrel which houses an eyepiece system. The lens barrel is rotatable around an optical axis of light incident upon a reflecting member. The optical system directs light from an objective to the eyepiece system in cooperation with the reflecting member so as to change an axial tilt angle of the tiltable lens barrel and simultaneously to rotate an image rotator disposed in an optical path of light passing through the objective, thereby permitting a tilt of an observation image caused by the rotation of the tiltable lens barrel to be compensated.

摘要: The invention concerns a joint for an observation device as an accessory to or a component of ophthalmological devices or surgical microscopes. The invention permits the folding of the object side optical axis of said device in such a manner that at any desired rotation about pivots respective inclinations of the observation beam relative to the object are obtained without the object migrating out of the field of view and without reversing the object image. Furthermore, the invention enables a continuous angular adjustment and a non-varying position of the entrance pupils of the device. This is achieved by directing a non-displaceable axis of rotation at right angles to the observation plane. The displaceable axis of rotation and the observation beam include angles relative to each other and have a common vertex in the observation plane.

摘要: An apparatus for displacing an optical beam to a selected point anywhere within a circular area, providing extensive linear displacement of the beam, includes a plurality of pairs of parallel reflective surfaces. Each pair is arranged to receive an incoming beam and provide an exiting beam that is precisely parallel to the incoming beam. One of the pairs is mounted for rotation substantially about the axis of the incoming beam. At least another of the pairs is mounted to the first pair for rotation about the axis of the exiting beam of the first pairs. The two are relatively positioned so that the exiting beam of the first pair is the incoming beam of the second pair and the two are mounted for linear and rotational motion together along and about a vertical axis. The arrangement receives a light beam directed substantially horizontally to a first reflective surface of the first prism whereby the exiting beam from the second prism can be selectively positioned at any point within a circle lying in a substantially vertical plane. The various relatively movable parts are provided with clamped joints to maintain them in a selected relative position. The clamps normally provide a substantial friction force to lock one movable part with respect to another. A device is provided for opening the clamps a fixed amount to unlock the structure and allow one movable part to be rotated with respect to another while maintaining the required friction force for the structure to be self-supporting, thereby preventing accidental damage caused by the structure moving under its own weight.

摘要: An optical apparatus capable of correcting field curvature easily, a method for manufacturing the optical apparatus, and a headlight including the optical apparatus. A lens, a plurality of solid-state light sources, and a substrate on which the solid-state light sources are mounted. The substrate includes a base material, which is rigid, and a mount surface, which is formed on the base material in a curved surface shape that substantially matches a focal plane shape of the lens, and on which a circuit pattern is formed. The solid-state light sources are mounted on the mount surface, and the substrate is positioned with respect to the lens such that a position of a focal plane of the lens substantially coincides with emission surfaces of the solid-state light sources, and thus field curvature can be easily corrected.

摘要: This invention minimizes the needed space for a changer device for optical elements which can be mounted in front or in the back or on either fork side of telescopes. It implements a design whose profile is circular and centrosymmetric and gravitanionally neutral in respect to the path of light of the surrounding optical devices as well as an optimized mechanical depth. This is achieved by moving the centrosymmetrically arranged optical elements individually into the optical path i.e. the central opening of the changing device in contrary to prior art designs wherein the optical elements are mounted on a revolving disk whose axis of rotation is not congruent with the optical axis. The invention minimizes the obstructing area and shape of the changing device as well as the gravitational stress on surrounding structures by incorporating a design with minimal space requirements.

摘要: A tube for an optical observation device, in particular for a microscope, with a viewing level that is linearly variable in length and/or height, wherein the tube has an optical light path, in which at least two optical elements are disposed, for example, deflecting elements. The tube can be designed, for example, as a swing-in tube, with a base part, wherein a deflecting element is disposed in the base part so that it can rotate around an axis of rotation, and with an eyepiece support that can swing in relative to the base part, wherein a deflecting element is disposed in the eyepiece support so that it can rotate around an axis of rotation. The optical elements may be disposed so that they can move independently of one another in the optical light path.
