    摘要: Methods and apparatus for choreographing movement of individuals for a performance event are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method includes providing a performance event configuration having a plurality of location indicators to assist in the placing or movement of individuals conducting a performance event. The method also includes providing each individual with a wireless audio unit and transmitting body movement instruction signals to the audio units of each individual. In this embodiment, the wireless audio unit may be a wireless, cellular, or mobile telephone. The audio units are configured to receive the signals and to play audio directions for each individual that correspond to choreographed and coordinated body movements directly the individuals at, towards or away from the location indicators to carry out the performance event.

An online server or service identifies participating mobile devices with recording capabilities that are available for recording at least a portion of the audio event. The individual recordings are then compiled into a final collaborative recording.

    摘要: Systems and methods of rendering a textual animation are provided. The methods include receiving an audio sample of an audio signal that is being rendered by a media rendering source. The methods also include receiving one or more descriptors for the audio signal based on at least one of a semantic vector, an audio vector, and an emotion vector. Based on the one or more descriptors, a client device may render the textual transcriptions of vocal elements of the audio signal in an animated manner. The client device may further render the textual transcriptions of the vocal elements of the audio signal to be substantially in synchrony to the audio signal being rendered by the media rendering source. In addition, the client device may further receive an identification of a song corresponding to the audio sample, and may render lyrics of the song in an animated manner.

    摘要: Techniques have been developed for capturing and rendering musical performances on handheld or other portable devices using signal processing techniques suitable given the somewhat limited capabilities of such devices and in ways that facilitate efficient encoding and communication of such captured performances via wireless networks. The developed techniques facilitate the capture, encoding and use of gesture streams for rendering of a musical performance. In some embodiments, a gesture stream encoding facilitates audible rendering of the musical performance locally on the portable device on which the musical performance is captured, typically in real time. In some embodiments, a gesture stream efficiently codes the musical performance for transmission from the portable device on which the musical performance is captured to (or toward) a remote device on which the musical performance is (or can be) rendered. Indeed, is some embodiments, a gesture stream so captured and encoded may be rendered both locally and on remote devices using substantially identical or equivalent instances of a digital synthesis of the musical instrument executing on the local and remote devices.
