Abstract:
Sprayer with writing function, including: a main body which is a cylindrical body having two open ends, a diaphragm being integrally formed in the main body to divide the interior thereof into a first chamber and a second chamber; an atomizer disposed on a predetermined section of the open end of the first chamber, the atomizer including a nozzle seat and a nozzle unit disposed on the nozzle seat and extending into the first chamber; and a writing device disposed at a predetermined section of the open end of the second chamber and having a hollow barrel body. A pen core is disposed in the barrel body. The sprayer provides both spraying function and writing function. The sprayer has simple structure and is manufactured at low cost. In addition, it is easy to refill the sprayer with the liquid.
Abstract:
An improved liquid fertilizer distribution manifold operating in two stages. An accumulator piston located above the primary and secondary ports provides for two stages of flow. A broad range of regulated flow for site-specific farming results in precise, accurate and timely application of liquid fertilizer and pesticides. An elevated piston seal flange in the manifold allows flow to be exact with plugged or partially plugged primary orifices. Manifolds are produced in single tier and double tier arrangements to improve efficiency. The same manifold can be applied to NH3 pressure increasing systems. NH3 pressure decreasing systems and liquid fertilizer and pesticide systems.
Abstract:
A nozzle or tip for use in precision dispensing systems which provides a continuous, uninterrupted flow of fluid therethrough. The tip comprises a body having an inlet at one end adapted for connection to a dispensing head or pump and an outlet at the other end for positioning adjacent a location on the surface onto which the fluid is to be dispensed. A passage in the body of the tip connects the inlet to the outlet, and is shaped to conduct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in a continuous and uninterrupted manner. The passage has a converging portion extending from the inlet to an intermediate location in the body and a constant diameter portion joining the converging portion to the outlet. The body of the tip is of ceramic material, preferably injection molded ceramic material. The tip can be fitted in a metal housing which can be provided with a standoff pin for spacing the outlet end of the tip from the surface onto which fluid is to be dispensed.
Abstract:
A coloring agent addition system which generally includes a processing module having an in-feed conveyor for receiving and processing a raw material and a coloring unit connected to the in-feed conveyor for adding a coloring agent to the raw material. The coloring unit is driven by the processing module to deliver the coloring agent depending on operation of the processing module. The coloring unit includes a motor that is in fluid communication with a hydraulic fluid line of a processing module motor, whereby the processing module motor is connected in series to the coloring unit motor to drive the coloring unit.
Abstract:
A constructional bolt, suitable for use in the securement of lighting fixtures and in other applications, includes an elongate body having a longitudinal internal channel including an open proximal end and a closed distal end, the distal end having a single orifice having a diameter in a range of about 0.008 inches (0.2 mm) about 0.020 inches (0.5 mm). Associated with the bolt is a pressurized water input to the proximal end of the channel at a pressure in a range of about 200 to about 1000 psi (1000 to 5000 cm Hg.). At such pressures, atomized droplets, in a range of about 5 to about 100 microns, are ejected by the orifice causing a flash evaporation, this producing a substantially instantaneous cooling of the ambient atmosphere by as much as 30 degrees F (16 degrees C.). A considerable number of such misting bolts may be provided to cool occupants within a defined space and in a system of landscape misting.
Abstract:
A method of making an article includes the steps of feeding fiber yarn, bundle or roving into a chopping device, chopping the fiber yarn, bundle or roving into fiber segments, texturizing the fiber segments, simultaneously introducing the fiber segments and a binder into a mold and molding the article.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for using a liquid-jet cutting device, comprising the separate delivery of a pressurized liquid medium and an abrasive medium to a nozzle, characterized in that the abrasive medium is fed to the nozzle as suspension in a liquid. Preferably the suspension is fed to the nozzle virtually without pressure or under low pressure. The invention also relates to a nozzle for a liquid-jet cutting device.
Abstract:
A method of assembling a sprayer includes the steps of providing a bottle, providing a sprayer assembly including a nozzle, pump assembly, and overcap, placing the sprayer assembly on the bottle, and pushing down on the overcap. A sprayer apparatus includes a sprayer assembly including a nozzle, pump assembly, and overcap, and means on the sprayer assembly for connecting the sprayer assembly to a bottle. The bottle advantageously has a diameter of about 13 mm. Preferably, the sprayer assembly snaps onto the bottle. The sprayer apparatus can be used to deliver a liquid composition including sucralose and flavoring agent(s).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a spray boom. The method comprises the steps of forming flat two ladders, each ladder consisting of an upper beam connected to a lower beam by girders, producing lower crossbeams, assembling the two ladders and the lower crossbeams to form a three-dimensional structure. The present invention advantageously makes it possible to reduce the cost of manufacturing a spray boom.
Abstract:
To measure property-specific distributions like surface area and mass concentrations, in a particle field that attenuates light passing therethrough, such as a spray or aerosol, a probe beam having a suitably selected wavelength is directed into and thereby caused to interact with the particle field. Light produced by this interaction is detected by sensors separated a distance from the beam. Extinction of the probe as it propagates through the particle field is quantified by determining the amount of light exiting the field in comparison with the amount of light entering the field. The property specific concentrations are determined from the light detected by the sensors after correcting for the extinction of the beam as well as attenuation of the light traveling the distance from the beam to the sensors. The light produced by the interaction of the probe with the particle field may include scattering, fluorescence, or both. Further, methods enable the user to determine the mass and surface area distributions of a spray or aerosol by traversing a single laser beam through the ensemble of particles to be investigated.
