The reinforcing material defines one or more compartments or sections. 摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for producing a fiber preform, wherein: at least one dry and textile fiber material is provided; the fiber material is assembled into a plurality of individual layers; the plurality of individual layers is provided with a binder; the plurality of individual layers is layered to form a package; and a plurality of interconnected fiber preforms is formed by pressing the package. A separation of the plurality of interconnected fiber preforms and activation of the binder occur in a common process step. The disclosure furthermore relates to a corresponding system.

A method for manufacturing a sheet-shaped fiber-reinforced resin material in which a paste (P1) is impregnated between cut fiber bundles (CF), the method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin material including a coating step applying a coating of a paste (P1) on a first sheet (S11) conveyed in a predetermined direction, a cutting step for cutting a long fiber bundle (CF) using a cutter (113A), a scattering step for dispersing the cut fiber bundles (CF) and scattering the cut fiber bundles (CF) on the paste (P1), and an impregnation step for pressing a fiber bundle group (F1) and the paste (P1) on the first sheet (S11) and impregnating the paste (P1) between the fiber bundles (CF).

摘要: A process for preparing a semifinished product comprising a PAEK-based resin and reinforcing fibers, including: preparing a dispersion comprising a PAEK-based resin in pulverulent form dispersed in an aqueous phase including at least one volatile organic compound and optionally a surfactant; bringing the reinforcing fibers into contact with said aqueous dispersion; drying the fibers impregnated with dispersion; and heating the impregnated fibers to a temperature sufficient for the melting of the resin, so as to form a semifinished product, wherein the aqueous phase of the dispersion has a dynamic viscosity, measured at 25° C. under a shear stress of 6.8 s−1 on a Brookfield DV2T Extra viscometer, is between 0.1 and 25 Pa·s; and wherein when the surfactant is present, its content is less than 1% by weight relative to the mass of dispersed resin.

摘要: A system for manufacturing a thermoplastic prepreg product includes a belt or conveyor, a prepreg applicator that positions a thermoplastic prepreg atop the belt or conveyor, a foam applicator that applies a foam mixture atop the thermoplastic prepreg, a heating mechanism that heats the thermoplastic prepreg and the foam mixture to cause the foam mixture to react atop the thermoplastic prepreg, and a laminator that is configured to press the thermoplastic prepreg and foam mixture to control a thickness of the resulting thermoplastic prepreg product. The thermoplastic prepreg includes a fabric, mat, or web of fibers and a thermoplastic material that is impregnated within the fabric, mat, or web of fibers. The thermoplastic material is formed from in situ polymerization of monomers and oligomers. The foam mixture includes an isocyanate, a polyol blend, and a blowing agent.

摘要: A process for shaping, by compaction, a fibrous structure obtained by three-dimensional or multilayer weaving between a plurality of layers of warp yarns and a plurality of layers of weft yarns. The yarns of each plurality of layers of warp yarns and layers of weft yarns are coated with a sizing composition. The shaping includes a pre-compaction stage followed by a stage of final compaction of the fibrous structure. During pre-compaction and final compaction, the fibrous structure is at a temperature greater than or equal to the softening temperature of the sizing composition. The process further includes the cooling of the fibrous preform obtained after final compaction of the fibrous structure.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a composite (e.g. fibre-reinforced polymer) connector for a fluid transfer conduit comprises: manufacturing a tubular pre-form which extends substantially parallel to a central axis C, the tubular pre-form comprising continuous circumferentially-oriented fibre reinforcement; manufacturing a continuous fibre pre-form net, the pre-form net comprising a support layer and continuous fibre reinforcement, the continuous fibre reinforcement being secured by being stitched to the support layer; placing the tubular pre-form and the pre-form net together into a mould to form a tubular hub portion from the tubular pre-form and a flange portion from the pre-form net, the flange portion extending from the hub portion at an angle to the central axis C; and introducing polymer into the mould so as to form a composite connector comprising the flange portion and the hub portion.

An edge wrapping strip is evenly arranged between a side edge of the inner composite panel and the upper panel and between the side edge and the lower panel.
