摘要: Methods and apparatuses for screening are provided. Embodiments include a screen basket apparatus for screening material, comprising a grid frame having a plurality of openings arranged in a lattice and a plurality of screening cartridge assemblies affixed to the grid frame to cover the respective openings of the grid frame. The screening cartridge assembly includes a case and a screen assembly fitted into the case, and may be affixed to a set of transversal member of the grid frame. The case may be an injection molded thermoplastic polyurethane or a thermoset polymer. The screening elements together form a generally continuous screening surface across an exterior portion of the grid frame.

摘要: Three-dimensional polymeric strand netting, wherein a plurality of the polymeric strands are periodically joined together in a regular pattern at bond regions throughout the array, wherein a majority of the polymeric strands are periodically bonded to at least two (three, four, five, six, or more) adjacent polymeric strands, and wherein no polymeric strands are continuously bonded to a polymeric strand. Three-dimensional polymeric strand netting described herein have a variety of uses, including wound care, tapes, filtration, absorbent articles, pest control articles, geotextile applications, water/vapor management in clothing, reinforcement for nonwoven articles, self bulking articles, floor coverings, grip supports, athletic articles, and pattern coated adhesives.

摘要: Provided is a mesh-patterned resin molded product (10) used for encasing and protecting a hollow piping member provided in a vehicle or a small ship. The mesh-patterned resin molded product (10), in a case of an ordinary state where no load is applied to the mesh-patterned resin molded product (10), includes a plurality of first resin wired portions (11) that extend parallel to each other, and a plurality of second resin wired portions (12) that extend parallel to each other in a direction respectively intersecting the first resin wired portions (11). Each of the first resin wired portions (11) and each of the second resin wired portions (12) are joined to each other on a joint portion (13) positioned at a mutual intersection portion. At the intersection portion, a direction passing through both axial centers of the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12) and being orthogonal to both the axial centers is set as an orthographic projection direction P. When the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12) are viewed in the orthographic projection direction P, a second surface area that is a surface area of the joint portion (13) between the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12) is smaller than a first surface area that is an overlapping surface area between the first resin wired portion (11) and the second resin wired portion (12). The plurality of first resin wired portions (11) and the plurality of second resin wired portions (12) are formed of a material including a thermoplastic resin.

摘要: A multi-axial geogrid possesses a series of interconnected strands or ribs that are arranged along at least two different axes within the plane of the structure. The strands or ribs have an aspect ratio, defined as the ratio of the thickness to width, of greater than 1.0, thickness being the direction normal to the plane of the structure. The geogrid can be manufactured by modifying the process parameters in order to create high aspect ratio ribs, using any of the various known methods for producing geogrids. A reinforced civil engineering structure, and method therefor, is formed by embedding in soil one or more horizontal layers of geogrid having high aspect ratio ribs. The reinforced structure shows improved rutting performance when subjected to vehicular traffic.
