A truck in accordance with the present invention includes a dump body, a truck frame with a rear axle, a lift system, and a conveying system. The dump body is defined by a unitary floor, a pair of sidewalls which extend tip from opposite sides of the floor, and a front wall and a back wall located on opposite sides of the floor and extending between the sidewalls. The dump body is pivotally connected to the truck frame adjacent to the back wall. The lift system is mounted to the truck frame and the dump body for lifting an end of the dump body proximate the front wall between a lowered resting position on the truck frame and an upper raised position. The conveying system is positioned on the floor behind the rear axle and extends between the pair of sidewalls. The dump body has at least one opening in alignment with the conveying system.

A moving floor is located on the floor of the container to move loose particulate materials within the container into a feeder and dispensing system. The container includes two opposing augers mounted on the inner surface of a rear door of the container. The augers feed loose particulate material within the container to a mixer. The mixer helps to break up the loose particulate material to keep it from bridging as it drops into a feeder. The feeder regulates the flow of loose particulate material into a mixing chamber. A high volume air blower is connected to the mixing chamber. The blower forces a high volume of air through the mixing chamber and out of the mixing chamber into an attached hose. As loose particulate material drops into the mixing chamber, it mixes with the air flow and is blown out of the attached hose. Prior to entering the mixing chamber, the air stream from the blower may be mixed with water to produce a mist. The water mixed with the air stream mixes with the loose particulate material, helping to prevent the production of airborne particles.

Within the container is a conduit. The conduit has a part which protrudes outwardly from the container and forwardly from the forward wall. Within the conduit is an auger. Pivotally attached to the part of the conduit which extends outwardly from the forward wall is a conduit extension member. The conduit extension member is pivotally movable to a position extending from the forward wall. Within the conduit extension member is an auger extension member. The auger extension member is operatively connected to the auger when the conduit extension member extends from the forward wall. Thus, a condition is established for discharging grain from the container of the wagon. The conduit extension member is pivotally movable to a position closely adjacent the forward wall. Thus, a condition is established for movement of the wagon upon a highway. The conduit extension member is thus always positioned for observation by the operator of the tow vehicle.

A grain cart includes an auger having a first lower section fixedly mounted to an inner portion of the cart and a second upper section pivotally mounted to an upper end of the first auger section and movable between a retracted, non-use position and an extended, use position. The auger's second section is folded inwardly and maintained in position within an upper portion of the grain cart by gravity when positioned in the retracted position. The second section of the auger is pivotally displaced outwardly to assume the extended, use position wherein the two auger sections are aligned and mechanically coupled for removal of grain from the cart, with the second auger section also maintained in this extended position by gravity. The first and second auger sections are coupled to a mounting plate so as to form an integral structure which is easily removed from and installed in the cart as a unit by means of a plurality of bolts coupling the mounting plate to a lateral wall of the cart. A partition attached to the lower end portion of the auger's second section in combination with slots positioned adjacent to where the first and second auger sections abut eliminates grain loss as the auger is extended to the use position for removal of grain from the cart.

A front foldable farm implement and hopper-feeding auger comprising an elongated hopper-supporting frame in three separable sections in end-to-end relation. A drawbar is secured to and transversely extends from the central portion of the intermediate section. First means pivotally connects the opposite ends of this central portion to the adjacent ends of the outboard sections, respectively, whereby the outboard sections may be pivoted between a first position in which the three sections are aligned and a second position in which the outboard sections are generally parallel to the drawbar. A plurality of hoppers is carried by the sections. An elongated tubular conveyor in two separable length portions is carried by the two outboard sections, respectively, these length portions being disposed above and in feeding registry with the hoppers. Further, the conveyor extends parallel to the frame sections when the outboard sections are in the first position. The conveyor length portions include two tubular elements which receive two rotary augers, respectively, the adjacent ends of the tubular elements being joined and the augers drivably connected to rotate in unison when the outboard sections are in the first position. The tubular elements are separated and the augers disconnected when the outboard sections are moved to the second position. The tubular elements have material-discharge openings in registry with the hoppers, respectively. A feed port on the outboard end of one conveyor length portion only is provided for introducing flowable granular material into the conveyor which conveys such material through both length portions and to all of the hoppers when the outboard sections are in the first position.
