The upper portion comprises a front portion and a rear portion. The rear portion comprises a seat portion adapted for seating by the person. The sled further comprises a low profile rudder member moveably engaged with the rear portion. The low profile rudder member has a handle portion and a snow engagement portion adapted to be in contact with the snow. In operation, the person may grip and move the handle portion thereby causing movement of the snow engagement portion.

    摘要: A skateboard with a handlebar has a board member connected to a support rod from a front end. The handlebar is connected to a top end of the support rod for permitting direction of the skateboard to be changed. A front blade is pivoted to a lower end of the support rod, and a rear blade is pivoted to a rear lower part of the board member for permitting the skateboard to be moved along on ice. The blades can be replaced with shaped skis for permitting the skateboard to be moved along on snow. The skateboard further has a brake depressable to move the rear blade downwards for a stopping block on a bottom of the rear blade to contact the ice. The skis have stopping trenches on a bottom; the trenches do not touch the ground normally, but do when the skateboard leans sideways.

First and second longitudinal rails are disposed on the lower surface of the carrier platform. The longitudinal rails are spaced apart laterally from one another. At least a portion of the first rail may extend beyond the first lateral edge of the carrier platform, and at least a portion of the second rail may extend beyond the second lateral edge of the carrier platform. The back ends of the rails may be shaped so as to be flush against the carrier platform, or to have some other shape that at least partially fills in the grooves left by the keels. The skag may be made to have a unitary structure, as by welding the components thereof together to form a single piece.

At least one of these two wheels is connected to at least one device using wind-generated Bernouilli force to assist forward motion of the bicycle. It also has a shield positioned adjacent to part of the turbine to deflect wind and prevent it from impacting the air foils when they rotate forwardly. A clutch is operatively connected to the shaft of the turbine to the wheel for transferring the force generated by the wind within the turbine to this wheel.

When locked, the boot's longitudinal axis is generally transverse to the board's longitudinal axis in a primary boot position. When unlocked, the rider can rotate the boot so that its longitudinal axis is generally parallel to the board's longitudinal axis in a secondary boot position. A snowboard having first and second bindings is provided with the mount's coupling member attached to the second binding. A method for supporting a binding on a snowboard is also provided.

    摘要: A steering ski for a snowmobile is disclosed. The steering ski comprises a ski body and a wear bar connected to a ski bracket. The ski bracket is used to attach the ski to the balance of the snowmobile. The ski body also receives a reinforcing member that reinforces a portion of the ski body which is curved upwardly. Reinforcing ribs travel along the length of the ski body on an upper portion of the ski body. The sole of the ski body or lower surface includes a keel that expand in width from a forward-most portion and then decreases in width rearward of a juncture between a snow contacting portion of the ski body and the upwardly-extending portion of the ski body. A wear bar is positioned along the keel and depends below a lowermost portion of the keel rearward of the widest portion of the keel. The wear bar extends into the ski body through a forward aperture and a rearward aperture. The rearward aperture is sized and configured to allow ice chips to be passed through the ski body and slung upward to cool various components of the snowmobile.
