摘要: A bag bundle pickup system includes: a storage unit in which one or more bag bundles are stored; and a pickup unit which takes out the one or more bag bundles from the storage unit. Each bag bundles includes bags and has a thick part having a locally large thickness. The storage unit includes: a support portion; and an entry space located below a bag bundle when the bag bundle is placed on each support portion. The pickup unit includes a holding device which enters the entry space and holds a bag bundle located above the entry space, each support portion has a contact part which comes into contact with a bag bundle being placed thereon, and a part of a bag bundle other than the thick part is placed on a contact top part which is located at a highest position of the contact part.

摘要: An inverted carrier lift and method is disclosed. The inverted carrier lift includes a trolley movable along an overhead conveyor and a carrier for supporting a workpiece to undergo an assembly or manufacturing process. The carrier is movable relative to the trolley from a raised position to a lowered position by a motor engaged with a lifting mechanism on the trolley. On rotation of the motor, the carrier and supported workpiece is lowered or raised to position the workpiece in the workstation for processing. The workpiece may be disengaged by the carrier for support of the workpiece by one of many different fixtures depending on the processing. Following processing, the workpiece is re-engaged by the carrier, moved to a raised position and the trolley is transferred to a subsequent workstation.

摘要: A modular air handler is adapted for installation in a racking assembly behind palletized product. The air handler operates to move air through the adjacent layers of palletized product upon placement of the palletized product in the adjacent space. The air handler can be deactivated in order to prevent unnecessary air flow when no palletized product is present in the adjacent space. A number of the modular air handlers may be provided for a racking assembly, such that individual pallet bays may be activated or deactivated as palletized product is deposited or withdrawn from the various pallet bays of the rack.
