    摘要: A vibratory conveying apparatus has a simple structure and can align and sort parts to a desired posture. The vibratory conveying apparatus comprising a conveying chute having a first conveying surface that is connected to a driving source by a leaf spring that is reciprocatingly vibrated by the driving source. The vibratory conveying apparatus also comprises a linear return chute having a second conveying surface to return sorted parts dropped from the conveying chute during alignment or another sorting process performed on the conveying chute. A deflectable motion transmitter transmits vibration from the first conveying surface of the conveying chute to the second conveying surface of the return chute.

    摘要: A materials handling device comprising a cascade of vibrating conveyors (61, 71, 81), each upstream conveyor (61, 71) being nestable in an adjacent downstream conveyor (71, 81) with clearance, and at least one of any two adjacent conveyors being movable relative to the other conveyor from a nested condition in which product is conveyed from the upstream conveyor to the adjacent downstream conveyor to a separated condition in which product falls from the upstream conveyor into a gap formed between the upstream and downstream conveyors. The invention avoids mechanical gates which are noisy, unreliable and are liable to trap the product being conveyed.

    摘要: A three mass, two trough feeder transfers articles on first and second troughs by vibrating the troughs. First and second leaf springs support the troughs on a base with the troughs in line with each other and with one trough overlapping the other. The ratio of the spring constant of the first leaf springs to the first trough mass equals the ratio of the spring constant of the second leaf spring to the second trough mass. An electromagnetic driver between one of the troughs and the base is excited with a signal having a frequency with an angular velocity equal to the square root of the ratio. A plurality of feeders may be positioned radially outwardly about the periphery of a conical head for distributing articles.

    摘要: A vibratory outfeed conveyor has a base, a feed strip resiliently mounted on the base, and a vibrator connected to the feed strip for feeding objects. A mounting bracket extends downward generally perpendicularly from the base, and an upper region of the mounting bracket is secured to a vertical surface of a support element so that the base extends horizontally over the upper surface of the support element. Spacers support the base above the upper surface of the support element so that a midregion of the base between the spacers is bendable downward. Screws engage the vertical surface and the lower region of the mounting bracket for moving the lower region of the mounting bracket away from the vertical surface while the upper region of the mounting bracket is secured to the vertical surface to apply leverage force to the base bending the midregion of the base toward the upper surface and pressing the free end of the base downward to hold the free end securely in place. Such an arrangement securely fixes the base in place without requiring fasteners or hold-down means arranged at the free end of the base.

    摘要: A distributor for food products and other bulk material having a plurality of in-line vibratory conveyor sections arranged in endto-end relation to convey the bulk material along a predetermined path past a plurality of use points, and discharge conveyors mounted on the upstream ends of the conveyor sections for longitudinal vibration therewith, and also to be driven transversely of the conveyor section to discharge material laterally at the use points. In the preferred embodiment, the discharge conveyors are vibratory conveyors mounted for longitudinal vibration with, and transverse vibration relative to, the conveyor sections. In one alternative embodiment, the vibratory discharge conveyors are inclined across the path, and in another, they are endless belts having upper runs extending across extensions of the vibratory conveyor sections and driven by belt drives carried by the conveyor sections. Additional embodiments illustrate a manner of independently mounting a discharge conveyor for vibration in two directions, one discharging reversely and the other discharging laterally. All embodiments use sensors for monitoring the quantity of material available for discharge at each use point and controlling the next upstream unit to supply the demand at each use point.
